00:00Noi possiamo sbagliare!
00:02È il nostro ragazzo!
00:10Sì!
00:11Chi sono quelle persone?
00:13Sono vere spie!
00:14Perché sono interessati a me?
00:15Perché tu sei una cavolo di indovina, Ellie!
00:18Penso che sei pronti per fare un musical, per favore!
00:21Ho bisogno di questo!
00:22Perchè farlo?
00:23Io vorrei fare un musical.
00:25Hai fatto un musical?
00:27I have a musical movie.
00:30Yeah.
00:30I mean, I guess I did with Rocketman.
00:33Rocketman, Rocketman, Rocketman.
00:34Rocketman, Rocketman, Rocketman, yeah.
00:38And they're fun to do.
00:41Difficult, but...
00:42You mean an Argyle movie?
00:43Do you want an Argyle movie?
00:45Yeah.
00:46We can't spoil that!
00:47Argyle!
00:49He's Argyle!
00:51Yeah.
00:53Sorry for not riffing with you there.
00:55I mean, it could...
00:57It would be a really great, like, play.
00:59Like, musical theatre show.
01:02Don't you think?
01:03Maybe?
01:03I think, yeah, you could turn this into a theatrical experience.
01:08Yeah.
01:08Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:09I mean, that's what's so fun about Matthew's movies.
01:12is that they're genre blending.
01:15And music is such a huge part of his cinematic language.
01:23And just right from the get-go with this movie, you're just like, you're sort of like bouncing around in
01:29your seat and kind of inclined to dance yourself the whole way through.
01:35I'm waiting for it.
01:36I really need it.
01:37So, I don't know why you always have the best lines in everything you do.
01:44And in this movie, you say, a lion convinced he's a lamb was killing me.
01:49So, I want to ask to you both, have you ever felt that you were a lamb?
01:55But we all know that you are two lions.
01:57So, what do you do when you feel that you are not roaring like you should?
02:04You see, sometimes though, you want to be the lamb.
02:08Because a lamb is vulnerable.
02:10And you want to be able to be vulnerable.
02:14That is the attractant for an audience.
02:17If you can show vulnerability, true vulnerability, adult audiences will emotionally wrap their arms around you.
02:27Whereas, if we're still in grade school, they might laugh at you.
02:31But that stops.
02:33And I think that's one of the joys and sweet things about human beings is that we are more empathetic
02:39than we're giving credit for.
02:42Are you saying that Brian Crasso is not a lion?
02:48This little lamb.
02:52Sometimes, I think it's good to be both, right?
02:56It's good to be both.
02:59And the quest for an adult is looking for balance.
03:03When to be what?
03:06Sometimes, you need to be a lion as a parent.
03:09Oftentimes, you need to be a lamb as a parent to be able to, depending on the circumstances, right?
03:17And that's the same thing when you're working on a character.
03:20Where's my in?
03:21How do I get into that character so that I can, that character can then start to inhabit in me?
03:28And who are you?
03:29I am.
03:31I mean, like, just what Brian is saying, I mean, it's so key to kind of cultivate all those sides
03:38of yourself so that you don't get stuck also in a persona.
03:44I was talking actually this morning to someone that I've worked with for 20 years and I definitely in the
03:51beginning of my career, I was much more just like just nervous to speak out of turn, offend anyone, like,
04:03you know, conflict averse, all of that kind of stuff.
04:06And then as you get older, you get more comfortable with the contact sport that is life, you know?
04:14And so I think that there's definitely more of a strength that I'm more comfortable sort of showing as I
04:28get older.
04:29But my mom would say that from day one, I was a lion.
04:34I mean, she's like, she's, yeah, yeah, no, I was, yeah, a little fierce from the get go.
04:41It's that, again, they put me in ballet and then took me into karate a week later.
04:46They were like, this girl needs to chop boards.
04:48We need to get her energy going.
04:51Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:51A place to put that.
04:52Yeah, she's not wanting to just be, you know, princess.
04:56Yeah, yeah.
04:56It's more fun being a lion.
04:58Yeah.
04:58Perfect.
04:59Raw.
05:00Thank you.
05:00Thank you.
05:00Thank you.
05:01Thank you.
