00:04A chaotic scene unfolded on the streets of Cebu Thursday night after a car ploughed into six
00:09vehicles at a traffic light junction. A video circulating online showed the car being driven
00:15erratically along Jalan Wong Soon Kai with its hazard lights on before crashing into vehicles
00:20at the junction. The incident was reported to police at 9.55pm. Acting Cebu District Police
00:27Chief Superintendent Boniface Bajai said no serious injuries were reported. However, all
00:32six vehicles involved sustained significant damage. The 24-year-old driver has since been
00:38detained to assist investigations after testing positive for drugs. He is being investigated
00:44under Section 42 Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for reckless and dangerous driving
00:51on a public road. Police have not yet confirmed what substance the suspect tested positive
00:56positive for.
