00:08:10wrenching different tiny muscles into the scapular area.

00:08:16Those parallel cravats have so much more pressure at it because you're facing your opponent

00:08:20and you're so close at the same time.

01:11:56for an individual title reign by a male champion.

01:11:59Absolutely.

01:12:00But to do that, he's going to have to get past the Technical Beast.

01:12:07His opponent and challenger.

01:12:10West Palm Beach, Florida.

01:12:14The Technical Beast, Josh the Goods Woods.

01:12:21Well, Josh the Goods Woods, who has a long and extensive history in Ring of Honor,

01:12:27earned his very first Ring of Honor contract by winning the Top Prospect Tournament in 2017.

01:12:32He's gone on to fulfill that promise, Caprice,

01:12:35especially with the return of the Pure Championship.

01:12:38He earned that title in 2021.

01:12:43Held it.

01:12:44Crossed over eras of Ring of Honor.

01:12:47As you see referee Mike Posey with the Pure Championship held high.

01:12:51Woods, a former national champion amateur.

01:12:55Four-time All-American at the University of Central Florida,

01:12:59just about an hour and a half down the road in Orlando.

01:13:04Mixed martial arts as well.

01:13:06I'll always say that I feel that Josh Woods was born for the Pure Division.

01:13:11He's been wrestling his whole life.

01:13:13Been in combat skills his whole life.

01:13:16And this Pure Division has Josh Woods' names all over.

01:13:19Even right there with the shot that he has.

01:13:20And that's Greco-Roman wrestling right there.

01:13:24You and Josh is laying.

01:13:27And hold it.

01:13:28Just the strength.

01:13:29I don't know.

01:13:30You know, other than that first bout,

01:13:31there's not many men that Moriarty has faced that just have the poise and strength of Woods.

01:13:51You get three rope breaks.

01:13:52If you exhaust those three rope breaks,

01:13:55you can be pinned or submitted on underneath or between the ropes.

01:13:58There's a 20 count on the outside.

01:14:00In Pure rules, the title can change hands on a countout or disqualification.

01:14:04You can get disqualified if you deliver two close fists to the face.

01:14:08The first result's in a warning.

01:14:10There's no outside interference permitted.

01:14:14Nice front face lock into a bit of a gator roll there.

01:14:17I don't know how many people I've seen roll with Josh Woods

01:14:21add the pure champion to the mix.

01:14:27and tried to get outside of a head scissor.

01:14:29Josh Woods broke the head scissor by going deeper inside of it.

01:14:39but Woods stops Moriarty in his tracks.

01:14:42Woods just always looking to grapevine arms and legs,

01:14:46and it makes it so difficult because he can out-muscle you on the mat.

01:14:52He's always trying to bull constrict or wrestle you.

01:14:55He has something to hold of you of all times.

01:14:57He's not going to let you breathe.

01:14:59If he's in control, he's on you somehow.

01:15:08but it's Moriarty trying to get Woods to straightjacket himself here.

01:15:12Yeah, he's trying to grab the arms of Josh Woods,

01:15:19because Woods can get out of any move he can grab the wrist,

01:15:22just like he just did.
