00:01.
00:02Wes Craven, you always think of him as the king of horror.
00:04He is an incredible director, but he's also an incredible human.
00:07I might start crying when we start talking about Wes.
00:11He was like a father in a lot of ways to all of us.
00:14Wes Craven called me to his house.
00:16That was our first meeting.
00:17He was going to give me notes on the script.
00:20And they were all typos.
00:22That was the beauty of Wes Craven.
00:24He was such a kind soul.
00:25We are fans on a level that is hard to express.
00:29He made horror cool.
00:32Scary movies somehow take you on a roller coaster ride.
00:35Ready and action!
00:39So when I got the script for the new screen,
00:41I was really impressed by Matt and Tyler
00:43with how much Wes had had an impression on them.
00:47Anything we got right in this movie is because of Wes Craven.
00:54Hello?
00:55Would you like to play a game?
00:57Tara.
01:00Sid, it's happening again.
01:03I had been apprehensive about doing another one without Wes,
01:06but Matt and Tyler really wanted to honor him.
01:09It's fun to get into it again.
01:10I've done four screams with Wes Craven.
01:13I was like, oh wow, what a perfect way to reinvent this movie.
01:16They love the original.
01:18They want to honor Wes.
01:20And it's so scary.
01:23How this new cast connects to the legacy cast.
01:27That's what's going to make this movie super special.
01:30And I was hoping that they were going to dedicate the film to Wes.
01:33to Wes Craven.
01:35And they did.
01:36And they did.
01:43Grazie per la visione!
