00:06After leaving Blizzard, Jeff Kaplan, the legendary game designer, is finally back with a brand new first-person game, and
00:11it's called The Legend of California.
00:13But there is a huge twist.
00:15Instead of the real West, the game takes place on a mythical island version of California during the Gold Rush,
00:19and it's a massive open-world survival shooter where you don't just play a cowboy, but build your entire legend
00:25from the ground up.
00:26You'll be mining for gold, hunting wildlife, crafting gear, and building your own ranch.
00:31And you are not alone in this world. Other players are out there, too.
00:34That means gunfights, rival settlements, and optional PvP where you defend your land or try to take someone else's.
00:40And the craziest part? Every server changes the world.
00:43Some areas might be beginner zones for one group, but deadly endgame territory for another.
00:48The game is still in development, with playtests and early access planned on Steam.
00:51But if you love games like Red Dead Redemption 2, this might be one you'll want to keep your eyes
00:55on.
