00:01Non voglio dire che quello che è successo non sia stato traumatico, finire dove siamo finite, in mezzo al nulla,
00:07strappate via dalle vite che avevamo lasciato a mezz'ora.
00:16So, first of all, what do you like most of your characters in The Wilds? And what do you have
00:23in common with them?
00:23I think for me and Shelby, I think we're both very different, very, very different people from very different upbringings,
00:31but we're both very optimistic.
00:34I think that's one thing that I could definitely could relate to her with. We're both find the positive and
00:40every try and find the positive in every situation.
00:44But yeah, I think we are very, very different, but that made it so much more fun for me to
00:48play.
00:49I think I'm most similar to Leah in the sense, I think my mind works a little faster than I
00:56want it to, and I think that's definitely something that Leah does.
01:01I think what I like most about her is throughout the season, you really see her find her voice, sort
01:07of break from that internal life and start to take action with it.
01:12And yeah, I like that she sort of finds her, although she's very fearful, she doesn't let that fear stop
01:20her from really trying to figure out what's going on and try to get off the island.
01:24So for me, I loved complexity of her, of Rachel. There's a lot that you see on the surface that
01:33as you continue through the series, especially through seeing her story, you find why everything is the way that she
01:39is, and that she actually goes through a lot internally that she doesn't show outside.
01:44Like everybody thinks she's just really, really strong, strong girl, which she is, she just doesn't know it yet.
01:51And through her connection with her sister, Rachel and Nora, it's, she's learning to accept how her sister actually aids
01:59her, and that it's a good thing.
02:03So as far as like having things in common with her, I think it's just learning to not have to
02:11be in control of everything, and learning to release, and that there are some things in life that happen, and
02:17that you have to adjust in your life's journey.
02:20And yeah, I think, I think that that's what I would have in common with her.
02:24I loved Nora's little nuances, and that she didn't really, she doesn't speak so much. She's very quiet. And I
02:36learned, you know, that it's okay to care about people, but also care about yourself.
02:46Do you have a favorite moment for your characters in the first season?
02:49I think, I don't really have like a certain moment that I can say this was my favorite moment for
02:56my character.
02:56I think just the general progression of Shelby and the freedom that she experiences towards the end of the season,
03:05for me, was my favorite thing.
03:09I guess in retrospect, looking back on filming, like, and the character itself, I'm like, wow, that, that, seeing that
03:15shine through, for me was my favorite moment.
03:18But I can't think of just one, one scene or one thing that she's done that I think is the
03:23best, because I mean, I guess I'm pretty biased.
03:28Yeah, I, I feel like so many of my favorite moments are also tied into sort of the attitude and
03:35the, and the, the, whatever was going on, on set that day.
03:42And the memories that also sort of imbue that, those moments when we were able to, you know, act them
03:47and, and, and try out the scene.
03:48I actually really love a scene that me and I have together.
03:51I, it's, it's later on in the, in the series and I feel like our characters have both gone, they've
03:58been at such a height and they both have this moment where they're pretty low together.
04:04And I feel like it was this nice moment to be able to have that, yeah, and just sort of
04:10feel these two, two people at their, at their lowest and be able to communicate that to each other.
04:15So that's, that's, that's a highlight for me.
04:18What was the biggest challenge of this series?
04:21The weather.
04:24I mean, truly, truly, there were moments where it was really hard to, to do it.
04:32It helped a lot, I think, in terms of survival, you know, and, and bringing that reality to these characters.
04:38But I mean, it was like 15, 16 days on, on a beach, beautiful, absolutely beautiful, but it could be
04:47really, really hard sometimes.
04:49Yeah, the weather, the weather was definitely, yeah, a really hard thing to do with sometimes.
04:55It kind of was fun at points.
04:58It was like, this is so ridiculous.
04:59We're so freezing, like thought it was kind of funny, but that didn't last long.
05:05I think another thing that I found challenging was like anchoring myself, I guess, as an actor, like finding a
05:13way to balance working 24 seven and then coming home and falling asleep as Mia and waking up as Mia
05:20and then going to set and being Shelby all day and finding ways to like separate those two people.
05:27I started to struggle with later into the season, like maybe in the last few episodes, I started being like
05:34getting kind of like feeling like I needed some sort of anchor.
05:38So that was kind of a challenge, but I liked it.
05:41How did you work together to build the relationship between your characters?
05:45I think we both really cared about it.
05:48We both really cared about what we were putting forward.
05:51I don't know, like we just clicked in that way when it came to us working together.
05:58And we had talked about it with Sarah Stryker when we were like filming the pilot and stuff and kind
06:05of just dove into a bit of who these sisters are together and separately.
06:10We both did a great job of bringing these characters to the table.
06:13And then because we knew who our characters were, we were able to create this dynamic of who these characters
06:19were as sisters.
06:21And really just caring for each other in each scene, caring about the story we're telling through these sisters in
06:27each scene.
06:29Yeah, I think we just really looked out for each other and brought something out of each other each time.
06:36Thank you so much.
06:37Grazie.
06:38Goodbye.
06:38Grazie.
06:40Thanks, Antonio.
06:41Thank you.
06:41Goodbye.
06:42Nice to meet you.
06:42Bye.
06:43Bye.
06:44See you.
06:45See you.
06:45Sua figlia ha fatto un passo indietro da un buio precedence.
06:50Ci sentiamo molto in colpa per averle mentito.
06:53L'avete fatto per salvarla.
06:55I feel broken.
