00:00Hi, so I've gotten a lot of questions like this, wondering what happened to my eye, and here's the story.
00:06So when I was really little, I was about nine months old, and my mom had found a white dot
00:14in my eye.
00:16My dad had took me to the doctors, and they believed that it was just a floating cataract.
00:21They had never really seen anything like that before, so they weren't very aware of what to do.
00:29They had did two surgeries, and they found out that I had something called nevascular glaucoma.
00:38We then flew to Pennsylvania looking for the best doctors, and they had found out that I had no vision
00:45in that eye.
00:48So they said that I can only keep my eye if it didn't hurt me.
00:56I was too little to remember if I was in pain or not, but I'm guessing I was in pain
01:01because I don't have an eye.
01:03So from there, I had got really sick with fever, and at this point, my eye had completely turned white.
01:12From there, I was then flown to Miami to see if my eye really needed to be removed and try
01:19to get more answers.
01:21From there, they did end up removing my eye, and they found out that I had a cancer called medulla
01:26epidural.
01:28Medulla epidural is a rare brain cancer, and this cancer had moved to my eye.
01:36We had found out at this point that I had only had about six months to live if my eye
01:45was not removed.
01:47So basically, my eye saved my life, and if I didn't have my eye removed, I would not be here
01:54today.
01:54Medulla epidural is a rare brain cancer.
