00:05and coming in the opposite direction with this little kid dressed as Harry Potter
00:09and he was about seven
00:10and I thought well he wasn't around when the books came out
00:14he wasn't around when the movies were being made
00:16this kid is dressed as Harry Potter on a Thursday afternoon
00:20sometime in August
00:23what's going on?
00:25and so these stories have the spirit I think to capture lots of people
00:29across generations
00:30she touches on these themes which are timeless
00:33our relationships are key to who we are
00:36and our friendships
00:37these relationships that we choose are so revealing of who we are
00:41I think that the relationship between Harry, Ron and Hermione
00:44and others in the Potter books
00:46was actually at the heart of why people connected so much with those stories
00:49the magic is fun and it's interesting
00:51and it has its geeky side
00:53in that you can learn all of these rules
00:55it's fabulous
00:55but at heart it was the relationships that kept people invested
00:59in the stories
00:59sometimes it's these are friends I wish I had
01:02or these are friends I feel I do have
01:04within the pages of this book or as I watch these stories
01:07that's what art can do
01:08it can give you relationships you've never had
01:13the world that Joe has created is getting richer
01:17and I think that we are seeing the scope of the magical universe being greater
01:23all of the stories I've written within this world
01:25while they certainly share certain overarching themes
01:28you cannot beat a good yarn
01:30so each individual section
01:32be it one of the novels or one of the movies
01:34has its own discreet story
