00:05Holdings Berhart's CEO and Managing Director Abdul Karim Abdullah.
00:10In a wanted notice issued today, the SC said Karim was wanted for criminal prosecution
00:15under securities laws.
00:18It listed his last known addresses including a flat located in Dubai's Burj Khalifa and
00:23a residential unit at the Lake Garden Villas in Sha'alam's Langor.
00:28The Commission urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact them at 012-611-2496.
00:37In May 2022, Serba Dynamic, Karim and three senior officials were acquitted of charges of submitting
00:44a false statement to Bursa Malaysia Berhart the previous year after they settled compounds
00:49amounting to RM16 million issued against them.
00:52Serba Dynamic and the four executives had claimed trial on December 28th, 2021 after
00:58they were charged under Section 369 Sub-A Sub-B of the Capital Markets and Services Act.
01:05The false statement charges were in relation to the revenue figure of RM6.014 billion contained
01:11in Serba Dynamic's quarterly report on consolidated results for the quarter and year ended December
01:1731st, 2020.
01:19In September 2023, Karim was publicly reprimanded and fined by Bursa for failing to provide proper
01:25notice of disposal of his interest in Serba Dynamic.
