Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia attended a Yasin recitation and tahlil ceremony for the late Royal Professor Tan Sri Dr Syed Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas at Istana Negara on Thursday (March 12).  During the ceremony, Raja Zarith Sofiah also granted an audience to the late scholar's daughter, Sharifah Shifa Al-Attas. 00:36on October 23, 2024, in recognition of his contributions to knowledge and Islamic education.

00:44Royal Professor is Malaysia's highest academic title,

00:47awarded by the King to distinguished scholars for their invaluable contributions to the nation.
