Trascrizione
00:01He can still get into the street racing world.
00:03He has a pulse on it.
00:04He knows the dialogue.
00:06He knows how to carry himself in that environment.
00:09And that's what this one's really all about.
00:11So he's the perfect fed to plug into the environment.
00:17And, you know, I think he's really hoping
00:20when he finds that his path's gonna cross with Dominic Toretto again,
00:23he's really hoping that he's gonna be able to right
00:24where he feel like he went wrong.
00:27And, you know, it's a lot of guilt.
00:29He feels like he busted up this family.
00:32And how could you ever make that up to somebody?
00:35It'd be pretty hard.
00:40You know, they never really find that time, you know,
00:43alone as guys just to be like the bro up and just kind of set things right.
00:47It just doesn't happen because things are off and running so fast.
00:50So they're kind of making up as time goes, you know, throughout the movie.
00:53And then there comes a point where they realize, you know,
00:58it's all water under the bridge.
01:00And then at that point on, they're just lumping on bad guys basically.
01:10Brian lost.
01:12And, you know, that very first encounter when Brian didn't really know his head
01:16from his you know what, I mean, when it came to racing.
01:18And so Dom put it on him, you know.
01:22And by the end of the movie, his skills had come up quite a bit.
01:25And they had that final quarter-mile race.
01:28And just by chance that train comes blitzing through.
01:30But they were neck and neck.
01:32And Brian really thinks he can beat him.
01:35And so, in a way, I think he kind of wants, like, Dominic's kind of like his, like,
01:39kind of big brother in a way, you know.
01:42He didn't really have much of a family.
01:45Dominic Toretto was the father figure.
01:47Brian's going, hey, this is kind of sweet.
01:49This is something I've never really had before.
01:51And so he looks up to him.
01:53And he wants his acknowledgement.
01:54I think he really wants to hear Dominic Toretto go, hey, man, you know what,
01:57you've come a long way.
01:59But the guy just won't give it to him.
02:01He just, even by the end of this one, it's like Brian's looking to him going,
02:05come on, I mean, you've got to give me some props now.
02:08And he just, he refuses.
02:15They have two completely different driving styles.
02:18You know, just like their personalities are different.
02:20Their approach to life is different.
02:22Brian is, I think, more finesse and just, and more organic
02:26and kind of just makes his way there.
02:28to the finish line, to busting the bad guys.
02:31And Dom is more bullheaded and just goes blasting through everything,
02:35taking stuff out, any obstacles, with really no care for his car
02:39or anything around him.
02:41And it's just, it's a fun contrast.
02:44And I think Dom, I think Vin and I are the same way.
02:46You know, it's like the East meets West Coast, you know.
02:50He's New York and I'm as California as it gets.
02:53And, you know, for some reason we get along really well.
02:56We shouldn't, but we do.
02:58You know, and I think it's the same thing with Dom and Brian.
03:01It's a good guy and a bad guy.
03:02Come on, they shouldn't get along.
03:03But they do.
03:04There we go.
03:05There we go.
