00:00Hey everybody, I'm Mila Jovovich. I'm back in cinemas, kicking undead butt and battling the Umbrella Corporation.
00:06Don't miss Resident Evil Retribution, only in cinemas.
00:18My name is Alice, and this is my world.
00:23These are some of the most challenging fight sequences I've ever done.
00:27And I think what sells it for people is a sense of reality.
00:33Project Alice, who do you work for?
00:36Joe.
00:38Why are you doing this?
00:41She moved to Toronto, where we shot a lot of the film, for a month and a half before we
00:47started shooting a frame of film so that she could fight and rehearse fights.
00:51She had to learn all the choreography, she had to be in a good enough physical state that she could
00:55do it again and again and again.
01:03The amount of stunt work in this film is beyond anything we've done before.
01:08It's quite interesting and quite exhilarating. Every day, you never know what's going to happen.
01:15Project Alice, you're all going to die down here.
01:20I've heard that before.
01:27Fight in the car of light, Mila's got a padlock and a chain, a bicycle padlock and chain in one
01:32hand and a gun in the other.
01:34But we weren't sure if we could actually choreograph a really cool fight with the chain.
01:38The stunt guys were very good. I mean, you know, they did a great job and Mila did an amazing
01:41job.
01:55This 3D is definitely a challenge, not only for actors, but for stunt people as well, to actually have to
02:01almost make contact.
02:03To sell a fight takes it into kind of dangerous territory.
02:11There is some training up ahead for me because I do have fighting sequences, so we've got the team ready.
02:21There's no question that these are by far the biggest fight sequences that they've done in Resident Evil.
02:29My intention with this film really was to build a bigger and better Resident Evil.
02:37I wanted the franchise to really, to make the first epic, post-apocalyptic movie.
02:44We want people to leave the theater having a blast.
