With intruding male lions still threatening their territory, the Xudum pride’s lionesses reunite for protection. But with so many mouths to feed, hunting becomes more difficult than ever. Lioness Tsebe is raising four cubs, and her smallest cub is dangerously close to starvation. When the fragile cub becomes injured and then disappears, his survival hangs by a thread.
Meanwhile, the Okavango flood has reached its peak, pushing more aggressive male leopards into the region. Leopard mother Lediba must constantly move her cub to new hiding places to keep it safe from roaming males. Unexpectedly, a surprising ally appears that may help her in this dangerous landscape.
At the same time, Pobe the cheetah faces one of her boldest challenges yet—coming face-to-face with rival leopards while defending her cubs.

00:09The Okavango Delta in Botswana.
00:12We are in a pristine environment right now.
00:15One of Africa's last wildernesses.
00:18The magnitude of life here is unparalleled.
00:22And it's a haven for Africa's big cats.
00:28Lion, cheetah and leopard.
00:31Big cat country.
00:34Armed with the latest filming technology,
00:37the Big Cats 24-17 is following individual big cats for six months.
00:45This is a unique opportunity to follow these cats round the clock.
00:49Through the day...
00:51I used to think I'd have a fair fight with a lion.
00:54I'm not so sure now.
00:57And the night.
00:58We've got the most sophisticated thermal imaging technology.
01:04Capturing their behavior 24 hours a day.
01:08I have never seen anything like this.
01:11Epic!
01:20The lines are running.
01:25Oh, it's gone. No.
01:27Oh, so close. So close.
01:31Ah, don't believe this.
01:34I don't think any of them got anything.
01:37Nah, there was a dust ball that it got lost in.
01:44Gordon and Setz are with the Kudum Pride mums.
01:47And they're 14 cubs.
01:51This is now a huge pride.
01:55We've got over 20 lines here.
01:58There's Naledi, Nossi, Makosimogogo, Mato and Sebi.
02:08It's a big pride and it's also a fussy we reckon with.
02:16The problem is, with so many lions hanging out together,
02:21that is a lot of mouths to feed.
02:25The mums have banded together for safety,
02:28but now have a new challenge.
02:32I feel sorry for these girls.
02:34We haven't seen these lions get a significant meal in a few days.
02:41Lioness Sebi has more cubs to feed than any other mum in the pride.
02:48Sebi is an incredible mum.
02:50To raise four cubs to this stage is no mean feat.
02:57But that little one looking very skinny.
03:03He's definitely not getting enough to eat.
03:08Sebi's smallest cub is struggling.
03:13Every day that passes,
03:16that little cub's going to be getting weaker and weaker.
03:24Sebi's spotted something.
03:27The lions are up.
03:30I hope this time is a success.
03:40She's running, running, running.
03:44Go, go, go, go.
03:53Sebi's running on empty.
04:00Sebi must catch a meal soon.
04:05Hard luck.
04:06Boys and girls, that was a shame.
04:08If she's to keep herself, and her cub, alive.
04:13Sebi can't catch a meal quick enough.
04:17Sebi's running off.
04:20Sebi's running off.
04:25Sebi's running off.
04:44Sebi's running off.
04:46Looks like it's in good mech.
04:49It's happy.
04:50Definitely looks in good shape.
04:55How beautiful is that?
05:02Brad, Brad, Gordon.
05:03Look, a male leopard in a tree just at the edge
05:06of Ladiva's territory.
05:09This makes me anxious.
05:13They have such a high density of leopards in this area.
05:17If there's a male and he thinks that the cub is not his,
05:21there's a good chance that he'll kill them.
05:26Male leopards kill cubs that are not their own,
05:30so they can mate with the females.
05:33So keeping them on the move every four or five days
05:36to a new location is smart.
05:42I think this might be the new little kindergarten
05:45for a while.
05:49Ladiva must keep her cub well hidden.
05:53Nice thick forest with a lot of color.
06:03At this time of year, the floodplains of the Okavango Delta
06:08are at their fullest.
06:11Pushing all the big cats in the area closer together.
06:17I've managed to find another big male leopard.
06:22Starting to get seriously concerned.
06:26We just keep on finding male after male after male.
06:29That's a big problem.
06:35It's now more challenging than ever for Ladiva to keep her cubs safe.
06:41Looks like mom was starting to snarl at the cub.
06:48That's their way of saying, OK, now you stay.
06:53Get used to your new home.
06:58Get used to your new home.
06:59The cub knows exactly what it means.
07:07Ladiva is heading off to hunt.
07:10It's amazing that they can communicate like that.
07:13Leaving her cub alone.
07:17Mom has to just trust that she's going to stay concealed.
07:38Hey, big girl.
07:42Gordon is with Sebe and the pride mums and cubs.
07:47They're looking hungry.
07:50Looks like it's going to be a busy night for them.
07:52They've got lots of little bellies to fill.
07:58Ready, one, two, three, to see if they can catch a meal.
08:02The team is deploying some brand new night vision equipment.
08:06This is a beast of a camera.
08:12The sun has set and the night is full of opportunities.
08:21I have never in my whole life seen this number of lions moving together,
08:27particularly at night.
08:30It's unreal, scary as hell though.
08:37It looks like the lionesses can hear something in this tree line.
08:47This looks like Sebe.
08:49With four hungry cubs to feed,
08:53Sebe is taking the lead again.
08:56Gordon, we've got Sebe on our side moving through the tree line.
09:01This time, more of the mums are joining her.
09:06I've got the drawn up quite high and there's lots of impala in there.
09:11If the lions can get close enough and outsmart them with teamwork,
09:15hopefully they're going to win.
09:17Hunting in a group doubles a lion's chance of success.
09:22Sebe's done a big loop round and if she can just sneak in,
09:29they're going to scatter and they could very well head in the direction of the other lions.
09:41They're running.
09:47Oh, look at that.
09:54The lions' superior night vision and acceleration.
09:58Whoa, they've got it.
10:00Gives them the edge.
10:02Oh my goodness.
10:04Mums, cubs, all spreading in.
10:10Given that it's such a small meal, split between this many lines,
10:13and a little impala like that, it is less than the crust of a sandwich for each of them.
10:22It's really not going to go far.
10:24Sebe is only getting a few bites.
10:29When it gets to this point, when it gets to this point, when they're super hungry,
10:32it is every line for themselves.
10:34And her cubs are getting nothing at all.
10:41Oh my gosh, one of these cubs is trying to pull a piece of meat through the sub-adult male's
10:48legs.
10:55The mums must take priority.
10:58If they're not strong enough to hunt, no one gets fed.
11:03Sebe's little cub, he's in the toughest position.
11:05He's the smallest of this part of the pride,
11:08and he's less able to actually fight and get access to the food that you desperately need.
11:19The adult lions have devoured the impala in minutes.
11:27The best chance they've got of everyone getting the food that they need is if they catch something big.
11:34To feed herself and her cub, Sebe must target larger prey.
11:41Zebe would go further. Buffalo would even further than that.
11:46But yeah, Sebe's cub still needs to feed.
12:12I trust her. Got her here. She's just crossed over.
12:16Brad is on the trail of Ladiba.
12:19She's definitely hungry and hunting.
12:23Tristan is just a few hundred meters away.
12:27Got a big male rapper here.
12:28Not too sure who it is.
12:35It's not good.
12:39Let's hope Ladiba doesn't push too far across.
12:46This boy seems to be quite active, rubbing himself up against trees and scent marking.
12:53This unknown male is on the border of Ladiba's territory.
13:03This is a very high-stakes situation for Ladiba. It's where she lives, where she hunts, where her cub's growing
13:11up.
13:12Male leopards are extremely aggressive to females and their cubs.
13:16And if they aren't certain that they're the father, they will kill them.
13:30He's approaching a tree.
13:34Oh, I see another leaptop there.
13:38It looks like a female, eh?
13:40I don't recognize this girl.
13:45It's not Ladiba.
13:47Pushed together by the flood, competition amongst leopards is now fiercer than ever.
13:53This guy looks angry.
13:57You're, oh wow.
14:02To assert their dominance.
14:04He's just mumbling and grumbling and just giving these deep guttural noises that are, to be honest,
14:10quite terrifying.
14:11Males will sometimes attack females.
14:15She can hopefully just get out of it by hiding on the lighter branches.
14:23F***ing, she's gone straight up to the top.
14:34That was insane.
14:46They must have fallen over 10 meters out of that tree.
14:50And he just seems completely unfazed by it.
14:56With yet another male establishing himself in the area.
15:01Brad, Brad.
15:02This aggressive male is very keen to show everyone who's boss.
15:07Copy that.
15:10That's, uh, it's not a good sign.
15:15Ladiba will have to work even harder to keep herself and her cub safe.
15:24This is really, really scary for Ladiba.
15:38To check on Ladiba's cub, Tristan is rolling into a night shift.
15:44I can't see anything in the trees.
15:47Makes me really quite worried, actually.
15:50But the cub is not where he left her.
15:53I think it's a good sign.
15:55Ooh, wait.
16:03Well, that's a relief.
16:10Leopard cubs are very, very strong climbers.
16:12This is one of their biggest adaptations and reasons for survival.
16:17Mum can leave them by themselves.
16:18They can climb up to the top of the tree very easily and get away from predators.
16:24These cats are very, very inquisitive at this age.
16:28After 24 hours alone, the cub is getting restless.
16:34It's like watching a toddler, basically.
16:36The world is their oyster and they, you know, just ready to explore, ready to learn.
16:44Just come down the backhand side of the tree.
16:49Out in the open, there's no hiding from predators.
17:00There's any number of dangers out here for a young leopard cub.
17:10Ooh, wait.
17:11Another leopard.
17:20Thank God for that.
17:28This cub obviously heard mum calling, ran off into the floodplain after her.
17:34Very, very eager to meet mum.
17:38But it's going to be quite difficult to figure out where they're going to be going.
17:46My feeling is that it's probably going to go and find a new place to live.
17:50With so many male leopards in the area.
17:54She's going to move this cub through very, very thick terrain,
17:57in an attempt to keep it safe and out of harm's way.
18:02Ladiba is now moving her cub almost every day.
18:07And stop.
18:10All right, so let's try and find them, shall we?
18:20Why does it have to be so difficult?
18:23Why can't filming leopards just be easy?
18:27Ladiba and her cub have vanished.
18:31Good luck, girl.
18:34I'm done.
18:55I absolutely love this time of day.
18:59Anna is following cheetah mum, Pobbe.
19:03It's when Pobbe is still touched up in bed and the cubs are just playing around her.
19:10Now six months old, her two cubs...
19:14Good morning, Kieran Bo.
19:16..are maturing fast.
19:23You can really see their little sibling bond.
19:29They don't have the support of a pride, but they've got each other.
19:34They love each other so much and that is really, really beautiful to see.
19:41Chloe has just been a classic little brother, winding his little sister up.
19:48Kier is not having any of it.
19:49She's like, no, don't slap me in the face, thank you very much.
19:55Cheetah cubs learn vital skills they need through play.
19:59You can see the way that they stalk each other.
20:04Practicing their hunting.
20:11Over the next six months, Kier and Bo will need to put these skills into action.
20:17They've definitely been watching Pobbe.
20:20And start to hunt alongside their mum.
20:23Things are going to start moving pretty quickly from here on out.
20:28They're not babies anymore.
20:43Set, set.
20:44Go ahead, go ahead, I copy.
20:46They are approaching a massive herd of buffalo.
20:50Easily the largest herd of buffalo I've ever seen.
20:53With the flood reaching its peak, the density of buffalo skyrockets.
20:58So this is one hell of an opportunity.
21:04Sebe and the mums are hunting for something big enough to feed themselves and all of their cubs.
21:11The desperation of the cats is very high.
21:15They're all very hungry.
21:16Cubs have been nagging their mums.
21:19And these lionesses are feeling the pressure to provide for such a huge pride.
21:26Buffalo are powerful and aggressive prey.
21:31They're closing in on one of the most dangerous animals in the delta.
21:37But a one-ton bull will easily feed the whole pride.
21:42Making it worth the risk.
21:53Tastes as hard.
21:55Oh my goodness me.
22:00Lioness is right up the rump.
22:05Someone's clinging on like a fucking baronco.
22:10Jeepers groupers.
22:12Dealing with buffalo, you can't afford to make any mistakes.
22:15Oh, there's a little calf in there.
22:18Oh, that's just okay.
22:20We've got a buffalo moving in.
22:21Defending the calf.
22:23Oh, ****.
22:25Sebi got a wallet by the bull.
22:31Back on the calf.
22:35That's game over.
22:40It's something.
22:41But a calf is far from enough to feed them all.
22:52Someone's getting beaten up.
22:54Hunger is turning the lions on each other.
23:01It's a dangerous place to be a lion cub around a small kill.
23:07I really feel for Sebi's calf because he's really being pushed around and he's struggling
23:12to get his head in there.
23:17Oh.
23:20Sebi's calf has a wound.
23:27Hey, Gordon.
23:29I can see Sebi's calf.
23:31The one that's been looking very skinny.
23:34Looks like he has a wound on the left side of his rib cage.
23:39It looks pretty bad.
23:42Oh, gosh.
23:43That's not good.
23:46That injury on his side has picked that up either during the buffalo hunt or in the aftermath.
23:54The cub is malnourished and now injured.
24:02If he doesn't get the food to help him recover and heal his wound, things could turn for the worse
24:08quite quickly.
24:15Seeing this cub in this condition is very hard to watch.
24:33Where, where, where?
24:34Can you see the empire up ahead?
24:37With Pobbe as their teacher,
24:40cheetah cubs Kia and Bo are learning fast.
24:44Yeah, she's going to learn.
24:47Go, go, go, go.
24:49And she's got one.
24:54Oh, the cubs are going straight in.
24:59Pobbe didn't even need to cool them.
25:04The cubs already understand.
25:07This is about fast food.
25:09We need to just eat and leave.
25:11That at meal times, time is of the essence.
25:15Meanwhile, Pobbe has just sat guarding.
25:18Now they're at risk of predators coming in to steal this kill.
25:25Of all the big cats, cheetahs are the most likely to have their meals stolen.
25:32What's really cute is that it looks like Bo is copying mom and there's also standing guard.
25:42It's basically adopted the exact same star hunts.
25:45It looks like Bo is looking at us as Pobbe and it's looking out.
25:50Male cub Bo is finally taking lessons seriously.
25:55One of them is eating and one of them is standing guard.
25:58They're clearly learning really, really fast.
26:02These little cubs getting ready for the future.
26:12Bo is looking at something.
26:21Bo is crouching down a little bit.
26:24What is going on?
26:32Oh, there's a leopard. There's a leopard.
26:36Bo is going straight towards it.
26:43He really, really don't want her to get into a fight.
26:45This would not be good.
26:49This leopard could seriously injure an adult cheetah and kill a cub.
26:59Bo is just staring at this leopard.
27:02She's not going to let that leopard come anywhere near Kiambo and also that meal.
27:12But Pobbe is not backing down.
27:20The leopard's run away.
27:23Oh, my heart.
27:27That was a seriously lucky escape.
27:31Typically, a cheetah would run away from a leopard.
27:37I've got a feeling, due to Kia and Bo being here,
27:42Bobby knew she's got to stand ground.
27:44She's got to take care of her cubs.
27:49Thanks to mum, the cubs have learnt a vital lesson.
27:53How to defend a meal.
27:56Cheetah cubs generally have such a tough start to life.
28:00But these two have the most incredible mum,
28:04who is just showing them the ropes every single day.
28:07With so many leopards in the area,
28:12Pobbe is going to have to be more vigilant than ever before.
28:26We have run into Ladiba.
28:31After vanishing with her cub.
28:33Oh, so good to see you.
28:36Greg has found leopard mum Ladiba.
28:39Oh, man, the last few weeks have been very stressful,
28:41because there's been so many males really threatening the area.
28:51Oh, gosh.
28:53Another one.
28:54Oh, my word.
28:56Big male leopard.
28:59This is Bungwe.
29:00And he's the dominant male in this area.
29:03He's fully mature, about seven years old.
29:08Oh, Ladiba.
29:12If the cub is nearby, this is a super-dangerous situation.
29:18Bongwe and Ladiba's territories overlap.
29:23But male territories are four times larger than females.
29:28Whoa.
29:33So interactions like this are rare.
29:36He's about double her size, and she's trying to push him off.
29:45It's working.
29:50This is insane.
29:56Ladiba.
29:57Ballsy, hey?
29:59Ladiba really can't afford to get injured here with a cub to protect.
30:11Absolutely unreal situation.
30:18What is going to happen here?
30:20Ladiba.
30:28Holy smokes.
30:29Here comes the cub.
30:31Oh, gosh.
30:31If Bongwe sees her, this could be the end.
30:38I cannot believe my eyes.
30:48Oh, my gosh.
30:50He's seen her.
30:55Oh, my word.
30:56He's not reacting at all.
30:59There's only one reason why a male wouldn't kill a cub.
31:03Bongwe must be her father.
31:09That's amazing.
31:11Bongwe is dad for sure.
31:16That's cool.
31:17I'm stoked.
31:19Oh, gosh.
31:21That is heart-ranging.
31:22I thought that it could have been trouble for that little cub.
31:25But now it looks like he's actually the defender.
31:29Fantastic.
31:30Go, Bongwe.
31:32Although he'll play no active role in rearing his cub,
31:37Bongwe will challenge any intruder male leopards in the area.
31:42He's a formidable, big male.
31:45So, I mean, if there's any leopard that we wanted to be dad
31:49and to give us a sense of security for the cub, it's Bongwe.
31:58Happy days for everybody involved.
32:02What a magical little moment.
32:25Here we are.
32:27Gordon has caught up with the Kudum pride.
32:31We can see a cluster of lions over here.
32:35Sebi, Naledi, Matu and their cubs.
32:40But half of the mums are missing.
32:42They're split off from the rest of the pride.
32:46These cubs haven't eaten anything really in the last week.
32:50And these lions are beginning to feel the pressure.
32:54They were moving around with around 20-plus lions.
32:58And if you don't catch something big like a buffalo,
33:01Nick's best thing is to split up in smaller groups.
33:05Mum and cubs are up and they're moving off.
33:10Sebi's group is now so hungry, they're sacrificing safety in numbers to hunt on their own.
33:19Oh, and that one little cub, the skinny one, is fast asleep.
33:25He's been left behind.
33:28Here, little guy, wake up.
33:36Desperate to find food for her cubs, Sebi is leading the hunt.
33:42She may have even have called and all the cubs have just followed on.
33:46But this one, probably just because he's so tired, he didn't get the memo.
33:59The saddest sight ever.
34:07See how his hip bones are sticking out.
34:13He's starting to call.
34:21In this state, his call won't go far.
34:26Is it the ever breeze, so no one's going to hear him.
34:29They've gone too far away.
34:42Not only is he tired, weak, underfed, injured, now he's alone.
34:53Okay, he's moving, but he's going the wrong way.
35:01The further away he walks from where his mum left him, the less chance he has of her finding him
35:07if she comes back.
35:10With the flood concentrating predators in the area.
35:16There's leopards, hyena, other lions, and he needs his mum for protection.
35:25This wounded cub faces a race against time to reunite before nightfall.
35:32He's just completely defenseless.
35:48Really nice to see her as a cub.
35:52Ladiba and her cub are still in Dad Bongwe's territory.
35:58Lots of playing, jumping at each other.
36:01It's just a fantastic scene to witness it.
36:06Too cute.
36:19I've got a male leopard here, walking straight towards the diva and the cub.
36:27It's the aggressive young male that Tristan previously found in the area.
36:34With younger males like this that aren't fully established, they've got a lot to prove.
36:39This guy's main role is going to be finding a territory, finding females to breed with.
36:48He's going to be pushing in a very aggressive way.
36:54If this male ventures into Ladiba's territory, he's just going to try and wipe out anything that isn't within his
37:01gene pool.
37:06What's that?
37:08Come on.
37:10This is Bongwe.
37:12He really needs to make a big effort to push this male out of the area and keep Ladiba and
37:18his offspring safe.
37:27They're both big.
37:28They're both powerful.
37:29And if these two males come into contact, it'd just be an all-out war.
37:44Bongwe's thrown down the gauntlet.
37:46The chase is on.
37:52Running side by side allows leopards to size each other up.
37:59I have to admit, looks very, very even.
38:02It's the last step before a fight.
38:11Bongwe's chasing him over a ridiculous distance now and doesn't seem to be letting up.
38:20He is just pushing, pushing, pushing.
38:36It looks like our boy's won this battle.
38:39The other male is slowly moving away and Bongwe is watching him move off and out of his territory.
38:47Bongwe has resolved the dispute without coming to blows.
38:52This is absolutely amazing for Ladiba.
38:54I mean, she's got a male that she can completely rely on to protect her territory and to protect her
38:59cub.
39:01The Diva seems to know the right boys.
39:12I've been called in to take over the cheetah, Boba and her two cubs.
39:18This will be quite exciting because I haven't really had much time with the cheetahs.
39:26Cheetah cubs Kia and Bo are learning from their mum every day.
39:34Boba spotted some impala.
39:44Oh, she is stalking.
39:47Using the glass as cover.
39:49Wow.
39:50That's incredible.
39:53Don't see her anymore, but I know she's in position.
39:57She's hiding behind her.
40:00A tumult mound.
40:04Oh, she's gone.
40:08She is super fast.
40:10You.
40:11It's insane.
40:20She got it.
40:28Oh my goodness.
40:34Wow.
40:38Wait, he's letting it go.
40:40What?
40:43This is a big moment for these cubs.
40:47He has taken the leads.
40:51What's going on there?
40:56They are chasing it around because this is the first time they don't really know what
41:02they are doing.
41:04Cheetah mums bring their cubs live prey to hone their hunting skills.
41:10Wow, look at Kia.
41:11She's really, really into it.
41:13She's hanging on to it.
41:15She's just mimicking her.
41:22Oh, she's taking it down.
41:29Wow.
41:33Kia is holding on to its throat and suffocating it.
41:38She is going to be an exceptional cheetah once she grows up.
41:45Ah, wow.
41:49Like I'm actually watching these cubs grow in real time.
41:54Hope has helped her cubs reach an essential milestone.
41:59Oh, Hope.
42:02I bet you are a proud mom today.
42:04You have ushered your cubs into the new age of maturity.
42:25Hope there he is.
42:29Gordon has been following Sebe's lost cubs for more than six hours.
42:38It's going to be dark soon.
42:40And the night holds a whole set of other dangers.
42:44Especially for a cub on its own.
42:55You're doing the right thing.
42:57Calling is the best policy.
43:03Okay, we've got a warthog.
43:08So he's probably seen this warthog thinking maybe this is my next meal.
43:13But not on his own.
43:15That's for sure.
43:21This little lion is completely dependent on his mom.
43:24There is nothing that he could hunt on his own.
43:27He's technically not in the condition that he's in at the moment.
43:39He's just disappearing off into the grass.
43:43Okay, let's catch up.
43:52Oh my goodness me.
43:53Hey look, there they are.
43:55Sebe up ahead.
43:58Okay.
44:00If he calls now, maybe she'll hear him.
44:04Come on, big four.
44:06Army.
44:09Oh my goodness.
44:19Oh my goodness.
44:21Oh my goodness.
44:32Oh my goodness.
44:36Oh, happy days. There you go, little guy.
44:45There they are.
44:51In the nick of time as well. Just 20 minutes before sunset.
44:57You can tell he's not leaving his mum's side. Look at that.
45:02Oh, that's perfect.
45:10Greg, Greg, do you copy? Gordon, Gordon.
45:14I'm going to sleep out here tonight. Somehow that little cup has reunited with its family.
45:19That's amazing.
45:22I'm just hoping that he's able to get at least something to eat soon.
45:35Greg and Gordon are sleeping out next to the lions.
45:41The lions are over there, maybe kind of over 100 metres away.
45:45I'm out in the middle of the plains and just going to bed down for the night.
45:50This is the best place to be. I mean, right in the thick of it.
45:55Okay, good night lions.
45:59It might be night time, but not everyone's asleep.
46:03And we keep going.
46:08Man, are weirds and ghosts and ghosts ever withstand them?
46:23voulez зд hosted hier房 of
46:24Golden, Golden, for Greg.
46:26Golden! The cat's on the move.
46:37the lion cubs haven't had a proper meal in over a week
46:46and they're all getting desperate but Sebi's little cub is ready for death
46:51not just getting lost from Sebi from his mum but his body condition he's weak he's picked up an
46:58injury when there's food available it can't even fight his way to get access to the meat it's like
47:04a downward spiral Sebi is an amazing hunter but she's on a losing streak the last week has been
47:13tough for all of them Gordon Sebi is crossing the floodplain towards the tree line I'm pretty
47:28confident she's seen something Roger that Greg can't put the drone up in a bid to feed her
47:36cub Sebi is going it alone oh there's a zebra right there right there just make it into that bush
47:59oh this is close this is intense
48:16oh she's got it my goodness it's pretty astonishing she did all of this on her own
48:41so this number of lions that is a sizable meal she is the hero of the day
48:56Sebi has provided for the whole group every single one of these lions has been hungry this
49:03is the best meal that they've had in a week and finally delivered the food her smallest cub needs
49:13for Sebi's cub that little one he has literally been starving this could save its life
49:23we just see him sneaking in and almost read his mind he's like thank god
49:32finally getting a good meal I mean that is just
49:36so good to see we were really worried about the cubs
49:41everyone has finished eating but Sebi's little male cub
49:46he is tucking in
49:50he's just refusing to leave the table he's gonna eat until he pops
49:59happy days for this cub
50:06how's that eh amazing talk about unexpected I know couldn't come a moment too soon
50:13through skill and determination Sebi has done the seemingly impossible
50:22most cubs don't make it to their first year and she raised four of them and that has not been
50:30about luck
50:31that's been about hard work commitment to them and just being an all-round pro
50:39yeah they've survived against the odds
50:48cheetah team cheetah team there's a male leopard heading towards Bob and her cubs
50:53what the hell
50:59there is another cat
51:07that is a leopard that is a big male leopard
51:20they're so close now the leopard is literally here
51:27and pulling the cubs are there
51:34this is really not good
51:42one moment they're just playing around and in the next breath
51:47they're basically at risk of death
51:51you've already seen Pobbe put her life on the line for these cubs
51:57when it came to the leopard
52:00so if this does escalate
52:02I have a strong suspicion
52:06she's gonna be doing the exact same thing
52:15the leopard is basically staring
52:18all day in the cubs
52:24oh he's coming down the hill
52:32he's creeping he's creeping
52:38he's heading straight towards Bobby and her cubs
52:44oh this is such a bad situation
52:48it's really close
53:04oh my
53:07is we right next to the cub
53:08are we right next to the cub
53:11I have no idea
53:23move Pobbe move
53:24you need to move your cubs
53:29he's right behind you
