Big Cats 24/7 Season 2 Episode 2 – The Chase delivers intense drama in the Okavango Delta as the powerful Xudum lion pride faces one of its greatest threats yet.
Four dangerous intruder male lions move in, forcing the Xudum pride’s lionesses and vulnerable cubs to flee south. These rival males could kill the cubs and seize control of the pride. With dominant males Big Toe and Madumo discovered mating with another pride, the Xudum lionesses must face the looming danger alone. To make matters worse, the annual Okavango flood blocks their escape route, trapping them in a deadly standoff.
Meanwhile, Pobe the cheetah struggles to provide for her cubs. As one of the smallest predators in the delta, she must constantly defend her hard-earned kills from larger, more powerful rivals.
Leopard mother Lediba faces her own challenge. To feed her cubs, she must leave them hidden while she hunts—despite the unsettling presence of a mysterious male leopard nearby who could pose a deadly threat.
Survival, strategy, and courage collide in this gripping episode of Big Cats 24/7.

00:09The Okavango Delta in Botswana.
00:12We are in a pristine environment right now.
00:15One of Africa's last wildernesses.
00:18The magnitude of life here is unparalleled.
00:22And it's a haven for Africa's big cats.
00:28Lion, cheetah and leopard.
00:31Big cat country.
00:34Armed with the latest filming technology,
00:37the Big Cats 2417 is following individual big cats for six months.
00:45This is a unique opportunity to follow these cats round the clock.
00:49Through the day...
00:51I used to think I'd have a fair fight with a lion.
00:55Not so sure now.
00:57And the night.
00:58We've got the most sophisticated thermal imaging technologies.
01:04Capturing their behavior 24 hours a day.
01:08I have never seen anything like this.
01:11Epic!
01:23Go ahead, go ahead for Greg.
01:25Yeah, Greg, go ahead.
01:26The intruder males are roaring and causing so much raucous and just full-on drama.
01:33With the Kudum Pride males missing, the rogue boys are making their presence known.
01:40OK, we're just going to look for the cubs.
01:43Gordon is searching for the pride's most vulnerable members.
01:47It's young cubs.
01:50We've got some lions up ahead.
01:53The rogue boys' roars travel more than eight kilometres.
01:57When they hear these rogue males and intruder males calling, there's concern, there's threat and there's danger.
02:04The females with cubs, they are moving out of the core part of the territory.
02:09This is the furthest south that I've seen them.
02:17Separating from the rest of the pride and keeping so many cubs on the move is dangerous.
02:25It's stopped.
02:27But these mums with young cubs have no choice.
02:32A good position.
02:34They're up on this termite mound here.
02:37So anything that is coming through this area, what they're going to see.
02:43You're just doing a little count.
02:49We've got nine.
02:51Nine cubs.
02:56These eight-month-old cubs belong to pride mothers, Naledi, Sebe and Mato.
03:08They are all hanging out together because they've all got cubs of the same ages.
03:13My respect goes to these females because they're doing all the hard work keeping these cubs alive.
03:21While Big Toe and Madumo, the heads of the Coodum pride, they're the dominant males.
03:28They're nowhere to be seen.
03:32That's been a week since I've seen Madumo.
03:35And for Big Toe, that's three weeks since anyone has seen them.
03:41So when it comes to invading males, the burden of protecting the cubs just lands on the shoulders of the
03:47females.
03:52Right.
03:53They're on the move.
03:57The best thing we can do is just stick with them.
04:03Water levels are at their lowest in this 400 square kilometers of the Okavango Delta.
04:14The annual flood will soon arrive, making it harder for Mato, Naledi, Sebe and their cubs to move freely.
04:27Every single one of them walking in the same direction.
04:32They must put distance between themselves and the Rogue Boys, who adjust five kilometers to their north, while they still
04:40can.
04:43Greg, Greg for Gordon.
04:45Go ahead.
04:46All those cubs are still alive and well.
04:49That is amazing.
04:51We're going to stick with the Rogue Boys.
05:01Sets is joining Greg to keep track of the Rogue Boys.
05:06Oh, my goodness.
05:07They are on a buffalo kill.
05:09Three sub-adults.
05:10And the big male is right here in front of me.
05:15Oh, my gosh.
05:19Really interesting update.
05:21They've killed the buffalo in the center of the Kudum Lion territory.
05:28It means they are willing to challenge Bekton, Mudumo, our dominant males.
05:34They really seem to be making themselves at home and have the nerve to make a large kill.
05:43The Rogue Boys are staking a claim to Kudum Pride territory and everything in it.
05:54It is true .
05:55Dude, what is going on?
05:56I have no idea.
05:57This is truly insane.
05:58They're not
05:59even trying to hide.
06:00No, they're not.
06:02They made a kill to prove a point.
06:04Yeah.
06:05They're a very interesting coalition of one huge male with three sub-adults.
06:14Adult male lions form coalitions, lifetime partnerships for protection and strength.
06:23Typically you don't find coalitions like this, with vastly different age in the same coalition.
06:30I wonder if it's a father and sons, potentially.
06:36They've got a huge coalition leader. He's in his prime.
06:41We've decided to call him Dimo. Dimo just means a giant.
06:46You can see the size of his mane and how dark it is.
06:51This coalition looks like it's been fighting quite a lot.
06:56You can take an example of this youngster here. He has a lot of battle scars on his face.
07:03With no pride of their own, the rogue boys are looking for one to take over.
07:10These rogue boys, they're going to want to mate with the females.
07:13And that'll mean killing cubs.
07:16They want those mothers to come back into Easter so that they can have their own cubs.
07:24And no one is defending this territory.
07:27It's crazy, eh?
07:28It's going to be really hard to fight off these rogue boys.
07:43They're just...
07:44Yeah, brad.
07:50Leopard specialists Brad and Tristan have found new Mum ladies and Emmermenty.
07:57Can I take that?
07:59Come on.
08:01Oh my god.
08:03Oh my god.
08:10Just too cute.
08:13The deeper has two cubs, three and a half months old.
08:19Really quite sweet.
08:22They've got this whole nursery area that their mother has put them into.
08:26And she'll walk in and call and then they'll reveal themselves to her.
08:33Lediba's cubs are too young to go with her when she hunts.
08:37So the nursery keeps them hidden.
08:42It's the perfect nursery here.
08:44It's thick, thick sage.
08:46There's a lot of places these cubs can learn, play and run around.
08:52There's nowhere really better suited to a leopard raising their cubs than an area quite
08:59like this.
09:05I love that interaction between a mum and a cub.
09:10Something so gentle and beautiful about it.
09:16Lediba is suckling this one cub.
09:18It's a pretty little thing.
09:22It's a busy time for a mum.
09:23Two cubs that are highly mobile and needing to be fed.
09:28She'll have a good session of feeding and then she'll do her long hunting forays.
09:37Lediba must hunt every two to three days, travelling kilometres from the nursery.
09:44She can't be there all the time.
09:47Leopard cubs have very high mortality rates.
09:50They don't have somebody else to look after them.
09:56This is one of the most vulnerable times in a leopard cub's life.
10:10Sun's just stepping behind the tree line and Lediba's now on the move.
10:20She's heading off on another hunter.
10:29As Brad follows Lediba away from the nursery, she hides in some bushes.
10:37There's a male sitting here on the road.
10:55Brad and Tristan have already experienced how brutal male leopards can be.
11:00Male leopards are notorious for killing cubs.
11:06We were just so happy with her having cubs in this area because there's very little male
11:13traffic through here.
11:15And just when you say that, her big male rocks up.
11:29Look at Crowley.
11:31You can see the way his tail is twitching.
11:35He's definitely on her scent.
11:37I just hope that she doesn't lead him back to where she's keeping those cubs.
11:51He's letting Lediba know that he's here.
11:59I'm going to sleep easy tonight.
12:14The lion mums are still moving their young cubs south.
12:20To their north, the intruding rogue boys have left their buffalo carcass unguarded.
12:34Oh, this is ballsy.
12:39Some other members of the Kudum Pride have found it.
12:43These two boys are enjoying a free meal.
12:47It's the Pride's two sub-adult males.
12:52This is really bold of him.
12:56The rogue boys, they are heading to have a drink at a nearby waterhole.
13:01Not far from here, about 500 meters.
13:06He's quite nervous looking around because he knows when those males come back,
13:11it is not going to be pretty.
13:16These two youngsters might look almost fully grown.
13:22This I'm guaranteeing.
13:29It's Demo.
13:30But the rogue boy's leader, Demo, is almost twice their weight.
13:39The big boy, he's about 50 meters behind me.
13:43He's advancing.
13:55You can see how massive he is.
13:57He is showing signs of aggression.
14:01His body posture.
14:06Oh, he's chasing.
14:07He's chasing.
14:10Ah, the lions have run off.
14:13They ran like hell out of there.
14:15Hopefully they're safe.
14:29Demo is victorious.
14:31He is going to feel a sense of pride and accomplishment.
14:37Two sub-adults are no match for Demo.
14:42The absence of Big Toe and Madumo is leaving the pride defenseless.
14:53It just shows how bold he is.
14:57It's a clear challenge.
15:05Demo and the rogue boys are now taking more ground.
15:10Moving south, towards the mums and young cubs.
15:16Just begs the question.
15:19Where I'm determined to do more.
15:21When all of this is happening.
15:42Cheetah team, cheetah team.
15:45Got Pobbe and the cubs.
15:47Excellent, you.
15:49I will be there ASAP.
15:53Raya and Anna are with cheetah mum Pobbe.
15:59And her five-month-old cubs.
16:04Pretty cool to watch these guys.
16:05I mean when we're following them every single day.
16:07You literally see their development.
16:09It's like having your own baby.
16:12Going from crawling to walking.
16:14It's a feel of accomplishment.
16:15Watching your little children grow up.
16:18Now Raya and Anna know the cubs.
16:21They've named them.
16:23Kia, the confident female.
16:25And Bo, her shy brother.
16:28Only a few weeks ago.
16:31They were reliant on their mum's milk.
16:34But now, they are full-blown carnivores.
16:42Cubs are looking pretty hungry.
16:44Their bellies are concave.
16:56Cubs are really far in the distance.
17:01This could be a moment for Pobbe to get a successful hunt in.
17:05Without her cubs distracting her.
17:10Pobbe needs to catch a meal every day to feed the cubs.
17:31She went.
17:33She went, she went, she went for them.
17:34They should be coming out to your side.
17:38Where is she?
17:54She's done it.
17:56Well done, Pobbe.
17:57What an absolute genius.
18:01Guys, she's got one, she's got one.
18:06My hands are shaking.
18:08Everything is shaking.
18:10But it was incredible.
18:12And, you know, she's done that for her cubs.
18:17And I can see them coming in.
18:22This is going to be an absolute feast for these two.
18:29What Kia and Bo need is for mummy to open up this carcass
18:32so they can have a meal.
18:35The cubs' teeth won't be sharp enough to tear through skin
18:38for another two months.
18:43Pobbe needs to catch her breath a little bit.
18:45Cheetah's main tactic for hunting is a full-on sprint.
18:50Sometimes being able to go up over a hundred kilometers per hour.
18:54Very hard for cheetahs.
18:55They are not really able to sweat properly.
18:57You can see her right now.
18:59She's having a very heavy pant.
19:04That's just to help with cooling.
19:09This is a really dangerous time for a cheetah because there was quite a lot of commotion when that all
19:16went down.
19:16A lot of alarm calls.
19:18Cheetahs lose one in ten of their meals to other predators.
19:23Pretty much every single predator can chase our lovely cheetahs off this kill.
19:28Sadly for them, amongst all our big cats, they are the underdogs.
19:33Being such a small cat like a cheetah, you really are down the pecking order.
19:36The challenge for Pobbe now is keeping hold of their meal.
19:49With the annual flood due any day.
19:52Hey, girls.
19:54We have run into the mums and cubs.
19:58Greg has found the Pride's mums and youngest cubs.
20:03It's Naledi, Sebe and Mato with their crew of cubs.
20:08At the southern limit of Kudum Pride territory.
20:14The lionesses are all very much on edge about male lions.
20:18And there's just, you know, anxiety and stress and built up tension.
20:29Hold on, I think we have another lion there.
20:35Oh, it's big male.
20:40Who is this?
20:43Here comes Mato, the most formidable lioness.
20:48Mato is approaching as if this could be one of the intruders.
20:58Whoa!
21:00She's upset!
21:10Wait a minute.
21:12I think that this is Maduma.
21:17Big toe has very obvious eyebrows.
21:20Whereas Maduma does not.
21:31I'm so pleased to see Maduma back looking strong and healthy.
21:36At a time when we've had so much upheaval from the rogue boys.
21:44Maduma looked so angry.
21:46She was ready for battle.
21:48She was just assuming that every male that approaches her is about to go after her cubs.
21:54That was amazing just aggression from her.
21:58Even Maduma has to approach with caution.
22:03Now that the mums, including Mato, have calmed down, everyone's approaching Maduma.
22:15Oh, it's a snuggle with dad.
22:20The cubs are so excited.
22:22That's so sweet.
22:25Go then, go then for Greg?
22:28Hey Greg, go.
22:29Maduma goes back in town.
22:31Wow!
22:33Maduma, my boy.
22:40he is a handsome fellow last time i saw him he was severely skinny look at him he's put on
22:48a lot
22:49more weight one question i always have whenever i see madumo on his own is is with his big toe
23:00lately madumo has been seen with the pride from time to time but his coalition partner big toe
23:07has now been missing for almost a month since we've been following the pride i've never had it that
23:15the big boys have been separated for so long
23:21alone madumo is no match for the four advancing road boys no matter how determined and how strong
23:28and how big he is he's not going to win against multiple lines so until we find big toe
23:37it's still a very precarious moment for the pride
23:57tristan and brad are checking in on ladiba
24:02after finding a male leopard close to her nursery
24:11ladiba's back in the nursery area one cubs showed up
24:17looks like mom might be trying to pick up the second one now
24:21and she seems to be getting a little bit concerned
24:39she's calling searching broadcasting her presence
24:52the male cub is missing
25:02i've never seen this amount of vocalization coming from a single leopard in such a short
25:09aggressive tongue
25:18she's just desperate for a response
25:22and she's just not getting it
25:31she's soaring
25:39she's soaring
25:39this call known as soaring is unique to each individual leopard and can travel almost three kilometers
25:49the fact that she's trying this hard really starts to scare me to be honest it's not a good sign
26:01the longer it's missing the lower it's chances drop
26:10less than 50 percent actually survive
26:14because they do get left alone they do have to fend for themselves
26:18because they do get left alone they do have to fend for themselves
26:20now she's high up she's increasing her throw of her core
26:26she's throwing caution to the window she may draw other predators and i think what we're seeing is a very
26:34desperate mother
26:47it's looking more and more likely that we've lost a cabaret
27:13life for all the big cats of the okovango delta is about to change
27:21actually by the flood
27:25the annual flood has arrived
27:29we're expecting it to be here within the next week but it's here now
27:34this is now
27:38this is the first time seeing the flood come in in real time
27:46Gordon, Gordon, do you copy?
27:49yeah good sir
27:50hey Gordon
27:51i have something amazing to show you
27:54m intrigued
27:56we're on this on the right road i can see your tracks so
27:59yeah i'll bump into you soon
28:05The waters of Yokavango have come a long way, close to 600 kilometers from the highlands
28:15of Angola through three countries, finally ending up in Botswana.
28:20It goes from if you were dry, a floodplain to a flowing river within a matter of hours.
28:28To create a spectacle that's beyond roads.
28:41I don't need to ask what you've got to show me.
28:44Oh yeah, you can see it already.
28:47The speed. I was here yesterday and it was just bone dry.
28:50Yeah, it was completely dry.
28:52It's really going to affect the lions.
28:54It really is.
28:56The territory is going to shrink.
28:59These waters, they are dangerous for them.
29:01Yeah.
29:02For the mums and smaller cubs, they'll be restricted.
29:07They can't really move around as freely as they used to before the flood has arrived.
29:12There's less dry ground.
29:14Yeah.
29:19With the flood waters rising, the mums and cubs are running out of safe space.
29:27The rogue boys are now just a kilometer away.
29:32I don't know if anyone else heard that, but I heard some roaring.
29:36It's Demo.
29:37This is a sign that these boys mean business.
29:45The mums and cubs can't rest.
29:51On a still night like this, Demo's roar will carry throughout this whole territory.
29:58What he's saying is, be afraid, be very afraid.
30:16This is when it all starts to get a little bit scary for tutors, especially when they're on a fresh
30:21kill.
30:24Anna is with Pobbe and her cubs.
30:29They still have the kill. Nothing's coming to take it.
30:33I think that could be something to do with her smart tactics,
30:38which involve basically covering the carcass with dust.
30:42She's trying to cover the scent because when it turns to night,
30:47things start to get a little bit dangerous around here.
30:56Pobbe needs to be on high alert all of the time.
31:02Who knows what predators could be lurking in the shadows.
31:12I wonder if there's something there.
31:21Oh, jackal.
31:25The cubs are essentially learning how to guard their food against animals.
31:31And level one is the lovely jackal.
31:58Jackal doesn't really pose much of a threat for these cubs.
32:02I am super chuffed that Pobbe and the cubs have managed to keep hold of this meal.
32:08But it's when the big things come in, like lions and leopards,
32:13that's when it's going to get really real for these cubs.
32:28Lion Team Mission.
32:31We're going to head through the bush for a long, long way.
32:36The flood is making it harder for the mums with young cubs to escape.
32:44Nothing quite like crashing through a floodplain.
32:48To stop the advancing rogue boys, the pride needs both of its dominant males.
32:56Loads of vultures here. What's going on?
32:59So Greg is searching for big toe.
33:05We've looked in all the regular spots.
33:09So we're going to look in areas that we would never normally go.
33:23I think we've got big toe tracks.
33:26Yes!
33:28Finally!
33:34He must be not far from here.
33:37Let's go and find him.
33:45Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
33:49Somebody's up ahead of us.
33:53This is a big male lion just in front of me.
33:58Who is this?
34:04Oh, gosh.
34:07Please, please, please, please, please.
34:15Come on.
34:17It's big toe.
34:18Yes!
34:20What?
34:24I can see those eyebrows.
34:28The mighty big toe.
34:30He's back in the game.
34:33Greg has finally found big toe.
34:36But he's a long way from the usual pride territory.
34:40This is an area where I've, in fact, never seen any of the Kudum pride before.
34:46And it begs the question, you know, where has big toe been this whole time that he's been missing?
34:59But he's definitely on some sort of mission here.
35:04It looks like he's about to cross the water.
35:08I haven't seen him for weeks, and it seems like I'm only going to have him for a few minutes.
35:21Come on, big toe, don't do this to me now.
35:24Please.
35:27I'm just not sure how I'm going to follow him.
35:31Because I don't want to get stuck.
35:36All right, we're going to have to do a big water crossing here.
35:41Oh, that's not ideal.
35:49Oh, it's deep.
35:54It's flowing.
35:59Not too bad.
36:01We're through.
36:03This is wild.
36:04Trying to keep up with big toe through the fresh flood.
36:08This is not for the faint hearted.
36:17He's just picked up a scent and is following it very intently.
36:23He's sniffing, sniffing, sniffing.
36:25He's trying to find another lion.
36:38Oh, okay.
36:39We've just got a visual of other lions now.
36:47Who are these lions?
36:50What's going on here?
36:53It's very, very strange.
37:01I can't believe this.
37:04This is not the Kudum pride.
37:09This is a whole different pride.
37:12It appears the big toe has another pride.
37:18Well, that was unexpected.
37:21At a time when the Kudum pride, you know, needs them the most.
37:26That is a problem.
37:29That is a big problem.
37:33Gordon, Gordon for Greg.
37:36Go, Greg.
37:37Gordon, you are not going to believe this, but I finally found big toe.
37:42He's fuzzy fooling around with other lionesses.
37:44You are kidding me.
37:47Not good.
37:47Not good at all.
37:56Wait a minute.
37:59Looks like there's actually another male here as well.
38:04Oh no.
38:07This is in fact...
38:11Madumo.
38:16That is unbelievable.
38:22The dominant males have been dividing their time between the Kudum pride and this new pride.
38:31What's happening is our big males are mating with other lions and that's why we don't see them very often.
38:42While Madumo has been coming and going, big toe has been here.
38:50What's potentially at play here is the fact that amongst the Kudum pride lionesses, all the older lionesses have cubs
38:56at the moment.
38:57And there's a fair chance that all the younger lionesses are related to Madumo and big toe.
39:03In fact, they could be their daughters.
39:05So the mating opportunities within the pride are limited.
39:10That might explain why the boys have gone outside to look for the chance of siring more cubs.
39:20The problem is if they're paying so much attention to other lionesses, they're neglecting the Kudum pride.
39:26And that's why we've had so much drama and chaos.
39:31And that is going to be a very serious risk to those cubs.
39:41The Kudum pride mums have been left to defend their cubs alone from the advancing rogue boys.
40:10Ladeba the leopard has been searching for her missing cub for almost two days.
40:19But there's no sign of it.
40:24Well, she's led us back to one cub.
40:41She is entirely... that one's wooled.
41:06Just one.
41:09I think she's moving it to a new space.
41:27I just hope now, with all her attention focused on a single individual, that cub stands a better chance of
41:34staying alive.
41:36It's still a miracle in itself that she has one healthy, surviving and thriving really.
41:43And it's a testament to her abilities as a mother.
41:48Ladeba's surviving cub will soon pass this most vulnerable age and leave the nursery with her when she hunts.
42:06Pobbe the cheetah is looking for her next meal.
42:11Wow.
42:12I think she's going to go.
42:30Go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
42:41Yep, she's done it again.
42:44Pobbe, Pobbe, Pobbe.
42:47These two cubs are insanely lucky that they've got Pobbe as their mum.
42:57Cheetah mum Pobbe has secured her cubs another meal.
43:05As long as she can keep it through another night.
43:23I am really, really chuffed for Pobbe and the cubs.
43:27She's doing an incredible job at feeding them.
43:34Wait a second.
43:37What's she seen?
43:40What's she seen?
43:43Pobbe looks like she's getting into, like, a weird stalk bird.
43:47She's seen something.
43:54There is something...
44:00..sat about 100 metres from that.
44:05That is big.
44:10Oh, God, I think that's a leopard.
44:12That is a male leopard.
44:21It's running in. It's running in.
44:42I think she's trying to lure this leopard away from the cubs.
44:45This feels like a mad move from Pobbe.
44:50This hungry male leopard is one and a half times Pobbe's weight
44:54and could easily overpower her.
45:00Pobbe can't save her food.
45:03But she can protect her cubs.
45:09She just jumped at it.
45:10She just jumped on the floor to try and make a sound to lure it away.
45:15She's so, so clever.
45:20Pobbe might be smaller than the leopard.
45:28But she has one clear advantage.
45:31Pobbe is not at her max effort in terms of speed,
45:35but that leopard is really struggling to keep up with her.
45:38This is crazy.
45:41Do you want to tell her?
46:01There you go.
46:12Pobbe has diverted the leopard's attention from the cubs.
46:18Okay, this leopard is going to the kilt.
46:22But their meal is lost.
46:29Off he goes.
46:34That's so annoying.
46:38That must have been terrifying for those cubs.
46:43But what we've seen tonight, Pobbe is capable of essentially fighting off a male leopard to protect her cubs.
46:55These are the lengths that a mother cheetah will go to.
47:01What an incredible cat she is.
47:19Okay, up ahead we have a cluster of lions.
47:27Gordon is also on the night shift.
47:31We can put the drone up, hopefully spot it from the air.
47:36The rogue boys are closing in on the Cudum Pride mums and cubs.
47:43But Dumo and Big Toe are out of the equation, hanging out with a second pride.
47:51And at some point, these rogue boys, they are going to push towards these cubs.
47:56And that could be tonight.
48:00So wherever Dumo goes, I'm just going to keep up with him as best I can.
48:12He's on the trail.
48:14The rogue boys are now close enough to be picking up the female's scent.
48:21Now things are serious.
48:23Dumo is making his presence known in sound and in scent.
48:39Yeah, he's belting it out with all his might.
48:55A roar like that just gets you in the belly.
49:03Things are going to escalate.
49:13They're running.
49:16Aye, aye, aye.
49:18I don't want to lose them.
49:23Where have we gone, pal?
49:26Dumo just ran off into this forest.
49:32So at the moment, I've lost them.
49:38The rogue boys have vanished.
49:40Just 500 metres from the mums and young cubs.
49:46I think they've disappeared into this forest.
49:51This is really bad.
50:06After losing the rogue boys in the night,
50:09the whole team is out at dawn.
50:13Searching for lions.
50:16Oh my gosh.
50:18Mums.
50:21What a relief.
50:24Anna has found the mums and young cubs.
50:29OK.
50:31We're all safe. I can't believe it.
50:34What incredible mums.
50:43OK.
50:45Everyone's coming to say hi.
50:51Morning, Sebba.
50:53Hi, gorgeous girl.
50:54Well, beautiful, aren't you?
50:58Well done for keeping your cubs safe.
51:02Oh my god.
51:03Oh my god.
51:12What an amazing morning.
51:16Anna, Anna, are you reading me?
51:19This is such, just like a dreamy, tranquil scene.
51:25Anna, Anna, do you copy?
51:27Anna, Anna, Anna, Anna.
51:29The rogue boys are coming towards the mums.
51:33Oh my god.
51:35Right here, right here.
51:36Yeah, Anna, the emo's right here.
51:38And the three sub-adult males.
51:40Looking super keen in your direction.
51:47The rogue boys are heading straight towards mums and cubs.
51:52And this is exactly what we don't want to happen.
51:54This is really, really dangerous.
51:59They're trying to pick up scent.
52:02You can see them right now with their noses, their mouth.
52:05And then they put their head up and go.
52:07Yeah.
52:10There's absolutely no chance that these lionesses with this amount of cubs
52:17are going to be able to outrun the rogue boys.
52:19There's no way.
52:19There's no way.
52:28Rhea, Rhea, do you have an update?
52:32Like 100 metres, they're super close.
52:34I see them, I see them.
52:43Okay, so I've seen them, she's seen them.
52:46Oh, they're coming in, they're coming in.
53:02Oh, they're coming in.
53:17I've never heard a noise like that, ever.
53:20Where are the cubs?
53:24Please don't be bad.
53:47Oh, they'll be bad.
53:48Oh, I know it's too bad.
53:56They're losing theirstate.
53:56I know this, but I know this for big changes.
53:56Well, I know that it knows.
53:57I know what it is, it stands out on thetown bakescause
53:59the lord of the
53:59You
