00:34Look who's here, the young pretender, it's Eddie Redmayne!
00:41Eddie, what do you make of this?
00:43This is wonderful and crazy and it's a treat to be here with you sir.
00:48It's kind of nice to have the premiere here in London where the whole of Les Mis originally started.
00:53It feels like the spiritual home. I know this is the quintessential French story but really the musical took hold
01:00here and actually this is where it sort of stemmed from.
01:03I wanted to invite all 60 million fans but we simply couldn't find a screen big enough.
01:09You must be so proud.
01:10I think it's up there with the best movies of all time. I'm a big fan of my co-stars
01:17and a big fan of Tom Hooper and a big fan of the musical.
01:20When Cameron first got in touch with you to play the part on stage, how did you feel?
01:24I felt so excited. It was my West End debut playing Epidine so she is a character that means so
01:30much to me.
01:31I'm not quite sure what the magic was that Tom Hooper used but it was something to do with the
01:35courage in his eyes.
01:36He didn't have all the answers but he was honest about that and he just had an absolute conviction to
01:41explore and everything that he could and making a great film and that's why I wanted to be involved in
01:44it.
01:44You would start doing your solo and then he would just sort of do this.
01:51And so then you just got used to singing with Tom's face in your face and after that a camera
01:56was nothing.
01:57It's a real triumph of the human spirit story and I wanted to really bring it alive on the big
02:02screen.
02:15You're in half a favor and the main phase to the conservationist or as swap will never be brushing these
02:18evenings during the big screen.
02:18Don't you?
02:19But what happened when telling them he would make a Dorian apartheid?
02:21Don't you?
02:21I was nothing.
02:22What happened that was Очень нрав assestars?
