00:00This case actually started back on February 25th when an Amazon driver was over in Merritt Island,
00:06had stopped on the side of the road and was actually delivering packages to several
00:12different residents that were right there in the same area. An individual by the name of Joseph
00:18Baldy actually stops and starts yelling at him, telling him to move his truck. The driver very
00:24politely says, I'll move it in just a second. But old Mr. Baldy didn't like that. So he starts
00:30yelling at him, telling him to move it. The driver sees Baldy climb in the front driver's seat of his
00:36vehicle and start to move the vehicle. So the victim in this case, the Amazon driver, jumps in
00:41the side door and Baldy takes off. And you actually, as you're seeing in the video, you actually see the
00:48driver almost fall down as he takes off. And then the driver's able to regain himself and is
00:54telling him, stop, stop. But he's not. He's moving the vehicle for the driver. I don't know what the
00:59heck he was thinking. Clearly, he wasn't thinking. But then he slams on brakes. You see the packages
01:04hit the Amazon delivery person. And then Baldy jumps out and takes off. So Mr. Baldy, as you might
01:13imagine, got a free ride out to Ivy's Iron Bar Lodge, where he got booked into the Brevard County
01:18Jail for grand theft and kidnapping, since he was trying to drive off with the driver.
