03:47But after a while there were one or two actors that I was able to speak to.
03:52And it's obviously still very painful to talk about family history.

04:04Well, like Emily, she said it's really interesting to work with the German crew and German actors.
04:10But also it's interesting to go on set and feel like you're completely, a couple years before,
04:17during the Second World War with all the houses and the streets and it's really interesting.
04:22And then you come out and then you're at the same place but just a couple years after.
04:27But it's all new and it, but there's still kind of the feel to it and you know that it
04:32happened here.
04:33but it's really interesting.
04:35One amazing thing in Germany which doesn't really exist in the same way anywhere else
04:39is the absolute axiomatic legal requirement for everybody to know
04:46this is what happened and this is what we did.
04:50and it's sort of, it's a, it's just a given that everybody has to be educated and has to know

05:04Yes, we had a dialect coach that we worked with all the time, but also was, because we were surrounded

05:11it was, you know, always there.

05:23Um, the whole, I want them to know a bit more about what happened, first of all, but also, I
05:30wanted to try to pick up a book and try to see world in a different way with it and
05:34to try to see that they're very lucky to have the life that they have and that people during that
05:40time had worse things happening to them.
05:44and just to be happy and enjoy every moment and that never give up and even if you're in a
05:48bad situation try to find positive.
