00:00I think what's interesting about Jurassic Park is because it really was a breakthrough film for technology.
00:07It's where CG shots were being used for the first time.
00:12And consequently, I think now, moving toward 3D was something that Stephen was extremely excited about
00:19because he knew that with what we had done in the very early stages of technology,
00:25being able to enhance the experience of a story,
00:29he knew 3D was going to take it that much further.
00:32Obviously, he wants to preserve the experience that the movie has,
00:37but the impact of those moments were something that he knew that he could affect with 3D.
00:42So I think what you'll find when you see the movie completed
00:46is that he's gone in and looked very carefully at each of those defining moments
00:52and found just exactly what the calibration might be for a 3D experience.
00:573D is so helpful to Jurassic Park because so many of the big iconic moments are in relatively small spaces
01:07and yet giant, giant characters.
01:11I mean, minimal size of these dinosaurs is 28 feet tall.
01:15So 3D is only going to enhance that experience of getting a sense of just how majestic these animals really
01:24were.
