00:03I play Donny Azoff and I'm Jordan's business partner and best friend and we start this company together and you
00:12know end up he kind of ends up becoming obsessed with power and my character ends up becoming becoming more
00:19obsessed with you know the more animalistic things like drugs and women and sort of falls to a darker side
00:26in that way where Jordan sort of I think gets off
00:30on being all-powerful
00:36I think working I think Leo's the best actor I've ever worked with you know he obviously is probably one
00:44of the most famous actors in the world for a reason you know but I didn't know you know we
00:50became really good friends he's someone I really respect so much he's taught me so much and I knew he'd
00:56be an amazing actor I didn't know how close we would become
00:59and I you know I just respect and appreciate him on every possible level I think he's just insanely talented
01:07to act with him brings you up 50,000 times and you know he just knows how to make good
01:16movies and why you should make good movies and has so much advice on you know my career and things
01:23I should be doing I just respect and appreciate him a lot
01:31I think Marty's made lots of movies that have been crime movies and you know sort of is really good
01:39at showing all different sides and human sides to maybe a criminal subculture or people that are often overlooked
01:47he can kind of really go into the minutia of why they are who they are and show you different
01:51sides of them and I think it's interesting for him to make sort of a white collar crime movie and
01:56kind of go inside the mind of white collar crime and kind of expose like these guys are as awful
02:03as any other kind of criminals you know and just because they're wealthier and more and white you know doesn't
02:10make them any better than any other kind of criminal and I think
02:13I think we're really exposing a lot of the ugliness of these guys but Marty has a way of exposing
02:19the ugliness of criminal life in a kind of almost enticing kind of way
02:29I think my big thing about the movie is it's you know it's it's what happens when you're given too
02:34much what happens when rules aren't placed on you and money can really in your mind buy you freedom to
02:41do whatever you want to treat people however you want it's not right you know so
02:44uh there is a definite fun to showing that but when you're living it and when it's we're really getting
02:52down to it it's not right
02:59when you're the one playing I mean I saw myself having so much fun at times you know playing this
03:06guy and I felt guilty afterwards on the nights when I was having fun
03:11I was having fun treating people awfully and you know this guy doesn't treat people well the character doesn't treat
03:17people well and doesn't um care about other people he's a consumer in every sense of the word he consumes
03:30money and power and and things and drugs and women and he's like an animal he doesn't care who
03:39who who dies along the way who gets hurt along the way and you know it's interesting playing someone who
03:46thinks like that I've never had to do that
03:54to play this person you have to sort of turn a blind eye to their behavior not only turn a
04:01blind eye to it but justify that you're okay with yourself doing these things
04:05and that to me was the challenge of it was being like was doing these awful things and kind of
04:12going yeah okay it's it's a normal day like you know and not judging yourself and then you get home
04:18and you're like oh my god like what did I do you know I spoke to that person like so
04:23awfully and you know that that I would often find a lot of guilt after like on the weekends or
04:29after work
04:35so
