00:00I think shooting in New York for a Ninja Turtles movie is, is, it's just a necessity.
00:05The whole history of it is, is in New York.
00:08None of us are from New York City, so we were literally wide-eyed walking around New York City
00:12and learning the streets together, learning the culture and eating a lot of pizza.
00:18That's not a joke. It, uh, I'm not too proud of that.
00:22Three days ago, New Yorkers would have said,
00:24I should do that again, right? Let's do it again.
00:29We were filming in Times Square at one of the busiest intersections
00:34and people were passing right, right, you can't stop it.
00:38So they're in your shot, they're in your frame, they're passing, they're,
00:40and, you know, how it is in New York.
00:43People would walk past and be really angry that we were in their way.
00:48We're in the middle of the scene acting and I'm like,
00:50but what do I do besides Raphael?
00:52And then someone would come by and be like, get the out of the way.
00:56New Yorkers generally don't care
00:59if you're walking past them in a motion capture suit and a shell on your back.
01:04People gotta work.
01:06We might get, like, a few people who would do, like, double takes
01:09and then be kind of like, yeah, okay.
01:12Like, we're working, we're making a movie right now, you're in it.
01:15Go see yourself in August.
01:17That was really fun to experience and really fun to kind of get to play around
01:21in the streets of New York as an Ninja Turtle.
