00:46President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. says the Philippines is working with Portuguese authorities to bring home Zaldi Co.
00:52You do not send your own police to go and pick him up kasi wala naman jurisdiction ng police dun
00:58sa kunsaan yung ibang bansa.
01:00So they cannot arrest anyone. So it will have to be the assistance of the hosting country.
01:10Marcos adds Manila has placed a red notice before Interpol and is working with Portuguese officials.
01:16Co faces several cases related to flood control projects.
01:19The anti-graft court Sandigan Bayan has since ordered his arrest and the seizure of his properties
01:23with an estimated value of over 215 million pesos.
01:28Co has been in hiding since the start of the 20th Congress when corruption allegations against him surfaced.
01:35One year into his detention at the International Criminal Court,
01:39former President Rodrigo Duterte could be kept away from the Philippines for several more years.
01:44Historically, the process for his fellow ICC detainees lasted 5 to 8 years,
01:49which makes Duterte stay only 15 to 20 percent of the way so far.
01:53For example, former Mali Islamic Police senior member Al-Hasan Ag Abdulaziz
01:58has been in ICC custody for 2,903 days or almost 8 years.
02:03Former high-ranking militia commander Mahamad Saeed Abdelkani,
02:07who has the shortest time detained at the ICC at 1,873 days so far,
02:12has still served more than five times the duration of Duterte's current stay.
02:16Both are detained on charges of crimes against humanity and war crimes.
02:20Duterte was arrested in the Philippines on March 11, 2025
02:23and transferred to the ICC detention center in The Hague the following day.
02:27The hearing to confirm the charges against Duterte concluded on February 27.
02:31The court's pre-trial chamber now has 60 days since that date
02:34to decide whether the case will proceed to a full trial.
02:37If the case goes to trial, that period alone takes at least 3 years on average.
02:43Supporters and allies of Duterte continue to call for his release.
02:47As many as 150 U.S. troops have been wounded in the 10-day-old war with Iran.
02:52Two people familiar with the matter confirms this to Reuters Tuesday, March 10.
02:56The casualty figure has not been previously reported.
02:58Before Reuters' publication of the figure, the Pentagon only disclosed 8 U.S. personnel seriously injured.
03:05In a statement after Reuters published its report,
03:07the Pentagon estimates the figure to be approximately 140 wounded
03:11and says the vast majority of them were minor.
03:14Chief Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell says,
03:16108 of the wounded service members had already returned to duty.
03:20Reuters could not determine the types of injuries and whether they include traumatic brain injuries,
03:24which are common after exposure to blasts.
03:26Iran launched retaliatory strikes against U.S. military bases since the start of the conflict on February 28.
03:34A group of technology researchers files a lawsuit accusing the Trump administration
03:38of adopting an unconstitutional policy that targets foreign nationals
03:42studying disinformation and hate speech on social media with visa denials and deportation.
03:47The Coalition for Independent Technology Research based in San Francisco files the case in a federal court in Washington, D
03:53.C.
03:54They argue the policy unlawfully discourages non-citizen researchers from doing their work in the United States.
04:00The group adds the U.S. Department of State is carrying out a brazen and far-reaching campaign of censorship
04:05against researchers and anti-disinformation advocates.
04:07The lawsuit asks a judge to block the policy, saying it violates the First and Fifth Amendments to the U
04:14.S. Constitution
04:14and requirements under the Administrative Procedure Act.

04:32since the 2002 World Cup.
04:34The show marks the release of Arirang, BTS's first new album in more than three years, before it embarks on
04:40a global tour in April.
04:42The one-hour event, stretching from Gwanghuamon Square to Seoul City Hall, will be streamed live on Netflix to 190
