00:02We took over an old school, an abandoned school, we shot everything there, we took over the gym and converted
00:12it into Simon's and Kate Beckinsale's apartment, obviously all the school classrooms, we shot in the corridors and Bill and
00:22Ben shot the graveyard scene out the back in the wild bit of gas.
00:31Conveniently close to my house in Highgate.
00:34I mean the strange thing about this school is that I thought we were just shooting the school stuff here
00:39because it's a school but what it's turned into is some kind of mini Pinewood with a back lot that
00:45we were shooting, Ascot Races was out the back just now and it's extraordinary, I mean outside of Pinewoods, Nell
00:51Street and places like that, I've not experienced that before.
00:56The thing was for me with everyday costumes is that you shouldn't notice them, they should just make sense, you
01:03know all the show goes in the pink policeman, you know the fruity dress that Simon ends up in and
01:10the walking dead, the duck feet, I want the audience to look at those not the t-shirt and jeans.
01:16So this is one of our walking dead, we've got three historical costumes, Jim was quite keen as was I
01:23to get some historical characters in there, it was a great opportunity to get those elements in.
01:28Other fun costumes we've got are the Ray worshippers, Ray is a biology teacher and he wears a lab coat
01:35so I thought maybe it would be quite fun that his worshippers also wear lab coats except they're kind of
01:40decorated in a kind of obsessive scary way.
01:45And then the pink policeman again, these were the guys who actually I think probably took the most amount of
01:50time but everything was made, I mean these are perfectly made stud vests, you know the fleece had to be
01:57made from scratch sourcing the fleece sourcing the pink zip and the buckle and then of course they're wearing fantastic
02:06ducks feet.
