00:00So the first tranche of documents about Peter Mannerson's appointment as
00:04ambassador to the United States and his subsequent dismissal will be published
00:08to Parliament this afternoon. The government is being fully transparent
00:12about that as you would expect in the circumstances. There will be a second
00:16tranche of documents that will come later where we've done a wider search for
00:20things like emails and whatsapps which need to go through the Metropolitan
00:24Police and the Intelligence Security Committee first. Why are these being
00:28published after PMQs? Is it because you don't want the PM to be questioned on them
00:32before? No, look the Prime Minister's in the House of Commons every Wednesday and
00:37I'm giving a statement to the House at the point at which we publish the
00:40documents to Parliament and it's just normal procedure on a Wednesday that
00:43statements come after PMQs.
