00:14So, diciamo qualcosa di questo bello herore di Rogue One.
00:19Um, well, Gin Erso, is, she's someone who actually is quite shy when we meet her, that she's, she's inarticulate,
00:30she has very much lived on her own, she's brought herself up, so, she's kind of on the fringes of
00:37society, and then slowly you see someone becoming empowered and, and, and becoming a leader and finding something that she
00:44believes in.
00:45Well, it's a very physical role. In some ways, this is more a war movie than a Star Wars movie.
00:53And, uh, how it was for you?
00:55Uh, I mean, it, I have to say it was tough. It was, um, it was, uh, altogether a nine
01:01-month shoot. It was relentless. Um, there was a, but it was a sort of, it was an incredible group
01:07effort.
01:08So, when we were doing any of these scenes, there were all these scenes where we were constantly running through
01:12explosions, running away from stormtroopers, and, and the AD team would, would be happily throwing sand in our faces, and,
01:20um, and there was sort of smoke billowing everywhere.
01:23It was, it was the, the attention to detail was the focus. It was all about just kind of getting
01:29the reality out of those scenes.
01:31And, uh, well, actually, you were just like the five samurai, and, uh, I think it's something that Gareth Edwards
01:38wanted badly about this movie. And how was working with him?
01:42Um, I, I really, really loved working with him. I could see from Monsters, um, one of his, his first
01:50film, in fact, that he had this documentary style of filmmaking. He had this, um, he's a real quester, Gareth.
01:57And he, he's, he, there's nothing inauthentic about him. And, and you could see that comes out in the film.
02:03And I think that's what audiences are truly responding to.
02:06Well, it's been a great year for you. Now, I think it's time to rest for a while.
02:09Uh, oh, yes, definitely. Um, I will be taking a, uh, holiday, um, at the end of the year and
02:17doing absolutely nothing.
