00:05Ania is a young, optimistic, Russian woman who, against all odds, has traveled across Russia
00:13to figure out the secrets of her past that she has forgotten.
00:20The first time we meet Anastasia, she tells us pretty quickly that she has amnesia,
00:25so she's shrouded in mystery.
00:27Every now and then she'll get an inkling about who she is,
00:31and she just has this strong feeling and this desire that she needs to go to Paris.
00:38Gleb is a Russian military, and he's following in his father's footsteps,
00:41and his father was there when it all went down with the Romanovs.
00:44Now we have this Ania who, as rumor has it, could be Anastasia,
00:48and Gleb is going to figure that out and either quash the rumors or finish what his father set out
00:53to do.
00:53The rumor starts that somebody survived, and I hear the rumor in Paris.
00:59So I put out a huge reward for the person who can convince me that they are Anastasia.
01:09I play Countess Lily Malievsky-Molevich.
01:12She's dutiful to the Dowager Empress, but she also does like to go out and enjoy herself,
01:18and she bumps into an ex-Count Vlad Popov, who wants to use her to get close to the Dowager
01:25Empress.
01:28Anya comes to Dimitri and Vlad for exit papers.
01:32Vlad and Dimitri get this idea that maybe we can create this Anastasia that we've been looking for.
01:40Upon meeting Anya, he sees something in her,
01:43and I think it brings out a compassion that perhaps he didn't know he had,
01:47so it's not so black and white anymore.
01:49For the majority of the show, Dimitri and Anya have this kind of butting heads relationship.
01:54Throughout the journey, she gets to know him a little bit more,
01:58and she starts to realize they have so much in common.
02:00She helps Dimitri reflect on who he is and really find himself throughout the show.
02:07What I think ultimately the show is about is conquering one's fears
02:11and choosing to embrace the future.
02:15And the ultimate choice is love.
02:17That's what matters more than anything.
02:21She has, no matter what, against all odds, been a survivor.
02:24What's so beautiful about the story is that in her finding out what her past is,
02:30she finds herself.
