00:48perché studiiamo, lavoriamo, organizziamo famiglie
00:51dobbiamo essere preparati per cosa?
00:53Qual è la prossima?
00:54Che cosa è una cosa che ha fatto?
00:55I think that actually, as we know
01:00the world is not made of fist fighting
01:02not for either gender
01:04even though we still act things out that way
01:06I think we all, my feeling is
01:08we all need to be prepared to try to be heroes
01:11and think for yourself
01:11and it's never going to be easy
01:13and in a way, that's even what Robin's character is saying to her
01:17she knows she can't stop the truth of life
01:19from showing up to Diana
01:21it's classic parent
01:23you've got the one parent who wants to shelter you
01:25and the other parent who says
01:26you can't shelter them
01:27they're going to find out sooner or later
01:28that's kind of what it was with Hippolyta and Antiope
01:31you know, reenacting that same kind of dynamic
01:35and so, yeah, I think it's the thing of any coming of age story
01:40is like knowing that you need to go out into the world
01:44but in this day and age we all need to be brave
01:48Another very interesting aspect of the movie is that
01:53Wonder Woman and Steve are sometimes like
01:57in a brilliant comedy of Catherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy
02:01which is something that we usually don't see in cinecomic movies
02:06it was your intention to give that brilliance, that comedy
02:11Absolutely
02:11Yeah, I want this to be a great classic film
02:14I love that kind of movie
02:17and though below the surface there's all kinds of strings
02:22of like the stories that we're hoping to tell
02:25and the message we want to get through
02:26the truth is I want it to be a great superhero movie
02:29where you feel uplifted and excited and inspired
02:32and you fall in love and you laugh
02:34and so that combination between the two of them
02:37was really the magic that made all of that happen
02:41It's amazing that Winter Woman, she's a goddess, she's strong, she's Wonder Woman
02:46Yeah
02:47but she has a certain purity in her eyes
02:50when she sees violence, war, she sees them with pure eyes
02:55Yeah
02:56Instead today we are so used to violence, to wars, to terrorism
03:01that maybe we don't see the horror like her
03:05Right
03:06It was intentional, we need to see those things with her eyes
03:11Yes, I think so, I think so
03:14I was craving and missing purity of spirit
03:17and beauty and sincerity in the marketplace
03:22You know, I love so many of these other superhero films
03:25but this was, it was just a little pocket that was missing
03:28but it's also a great opportunity to take something so purely good
03:32and have it come and walk amongst mankind
03:34and see how they experience mankind
03:36and then maybe make us laugh for a moment
03:39but ultimately reflect on, wow, we really do live that way
03:43and if I saw it in such a pure context
03:46it would be so hard to accept
03:48and so yeah, that was a wonderful part of that journey
03:53Okay, thank you
03:54Awesome, nice to meet you
03:55I'm with you, Tom
03:55Thank you, thank you
