00:10There's superhero stories and then there are Marvel superhero stories,
00:14which are very much about character.
00:16This happens in the real world. These are characters I can connect with.
00:19So this is the next phase of that.
00:21We wanted to show the world that these heroes are important to the Marvel Universe,
00:26that there is a character for every kind of Marvel fan out there.
00:32Initially, these characters come together because they just want to prove that they are real, legitimate heroes.
00:37It's a Marvel story, so there's epic action-adventure.
00:40And this story in the shorts sort of opens the door into the feature life.

00:51We wanted to hire actors who could bring authenticity to the role,
00:55but also connect with the audience. And so that's how we cast the show.
00:59Dove Cameron as Ghost Spider, I would say that's dream casting.
01:03She represents someone who is strong-willed, who knows what they want,
01:06who goes after what they want, who's confident, and who's also goofy.
01:10Camille McFadden plays Patriot for us.
01:13Ms. Marvel is played by Kat Kavari.
01:15Chloe Bennett is Quake's perfect casting.
01:18She's Daisy Johnson on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
01:21She's younger, and I think that comes with a few different things.
01:24You know, she has something to prove.
01:27Inferno, a.k.a. Dante Pertuse, is voiced by the awesome Tyler Posey.
01:31He's himself. He's completely himself. He's not trying to be anybody else.
01:34I really dig that.
01:35Squirrel Girl will be played by Milana Vayntreb.
01:38Sierra Ramirez as America Chavez.
01:40We have Lockjaw and Tippy Toe.
01:42Animal sidekicks who do a lot in terms of being heroes themselves.
01:48Ming-Na Wen, which is perfect to play our big bad Hala.
01:51Exile will be played by Boo Boo Stewart.
01:53Captain Marvel is voiced by Kim Raver.
01:56This is an amazing action-adventure story.
01:59It's all stuff that you can connect with and feel like,
02:01these heroes are a lot like me.
02:03This story is about them coming into themselves.
02:06That's really the adventure of it all,
02:08finding a way to work together,
02:10but also finding a way to believe in themselves and believe in one another
02:14so that they can be the next heroes of the Marvel Universe.
