00:05Quando ti ho trovato, ho visto un potere, trezzo indomito, e oltre a questo, qualcosa di veramente speciale.
00:26So, your character says, it's time to let all the old things die. It's a huge statement. I think that
00:34maybe it's true, it's a revolutionary thought, but we can still learn something from old things or not today.
00:42What do I think?
00:43Yes.
00:45Yes, I think it's definitely good to know your history, so to have a frame of reference of what might
00:52happen in the future.
00:55But I agree to some of the idea. I think the idea that you have to, not literally, but kind
01:02of metaphorically kill things to become who you are, that's an interesting idea.
01:09I don't know if it's true or not, but it's an interesting thought, that to kind of become your own
01:14person, you have to separate yourself from maybe an idea of yourself or maybe someone who is kind of keeping
01:29you down, I guess.
01:30But it's certainly maybe valuable to know where you come from. I don't know, I don't have an answer to
01:37it. I think it's more maybe that character thinks that, but it's also I don't know that he thinks that
01:42all the time or maybe he's just convincing himself of it.
01:45Watching the movie, it's clear that it's really important to have a teacher in life and a very good one.
01:54How was it for you? Did you have a good teacher in your life and it helped you, I don't
02:00know, with the acting or in life?
02:01Oh, sure, sure. I've had lots of them over, there's never been one person, you know. I had an acting
02:10teacher named Richard Fellman, who had Juilliard, who was a big influence on me, just not, just kind of his
02:19philosophy and how he saw how arts are important, you know, I think, or the arts are important. He had
02:27a big influence on me.
02:29But, you know, lots of people, a lot of directors that I've worked with, I always, there's always something that
02:34I, like Martin Scorsese, I worked with him and I, you know, you pull something about like a constant, someone
02:46who's accomplished so much in their career and has, could easily be the opposite personality of what he is, who's
02:53completely self-assured and knows what the decisions that he's making is right.
02:59But that's totally the opposite of his personality. He's still kind of questioning himself and questioning his faith and getting,
03:07trusting his actor's opinions and being generous. And so that's always a good lesson. So lots of people, lots of
03:16people like that.
03:17In Italy we have a saying that is, mommy is always mommy. And without giving any spoilers on the movie,
03:24do you agree? Mommy is always mommy or not?
03:27Yeah, I like that idea. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. We have an interesting metaphor in the movie, which is when animals
03:35and children literally run over weapons dealers. Do you agree that's what we have to do?
03:43So giving the future to animals and children, it's important to give them hope and counting on them.
03:51Yeah. Well, I would, yeah, children, I feel like and, you know, teenagers should like education overall is couldn't be
04:01a more important thing. I feel like the older you get, the more entrenched you are in your ideas.
04:09So in a way, you know, we're useless. It's up to, I feel like we're set in our ways more
04:20and it's hard to, it's really hard for people to see the other side of things. But kids and, you
04:27know, teenagers, there's more, there's more potential. There's, there's more, it's so important that the right influences come into their
04:37lives and, and shape who they are.
04:39You know, they're, you know, they're, you know, so yes, I agree with that.
04:45Okay. Thank you. Thank you.
05:09Thank you.
