00:02We are the gorgeous ladies of wrestling!
00:06Because season 2 is about the shooting of the show GLOW,
00:09even when we're not wrestling, we're often in our wrestling looks,
00:12and that actually has been one of the most fun things about shooting this season.
00:15You get to sort of experience the women just really owning their characters.
00:19It empowers all of us, and we take that spirit from the ring
00:24and apply it to every aspect of shooting.
00:27We get the makeup, and we'll get the hair bigger.
00:30Now I'm in this mindset, I am a super diva.
00:34Yes, honey, I'm here. Let's go.
00:39My wrestling character, her signature look is a heavily hairsprayed mohawk.
00:45It has to be almost rock hard to survive in the ring.
00:48Getting into Liberty Bell, I know that my hair is going to be a foot higher than it is now,
00:54which is crazy to think about.
00:55I think our hair grew with our characters.
00:58In season 1, our characters were a little more insecure, a little more wishy-washy,
01:02and in season 2, we're more confident.
01:05Villarosa in the ring is an in-control diva.
01:08Like, there's a fan blowing on her at all times.
01:10The hair and makeup that they do on this show is crazy. They're artists.
01:15The makeup on GLOW, lots of glitter!
01:17Glitter.
01:18Glitter.
01:18Glitter on the lips.
01:20It's glitter everywhere.
01:23My eyes, I have blue and white and then red eyeliner. The lips are like lip liner, lipstick, lip gloss,
01:29glue, and then glitter. I look like there was a fire at the Benjamin Moore store and I didn't survive.
01:38I think that we try to ask the difficult questions about what sometimes feels like a contradiction.
01:45Maintaining your femininity and vulnerability while also claiming your power.
01:51There's more to me than meets the eye.
01:53Well, I can do many things, including flip you over on your back, honey.
01:59I'm kind of scared of you now.
02:00You shouldn't be.
