00:01Survival remains the overriding objective for West Bromwich Albion
00:05as the championship season enters its decisive phase
00:07with the baggies locked in a tense battle to avoid relegation.
00:12A campaign that began with hopes of pushing toward the playoffs
00:15has instead turned into a fight at the opposite end of the table,
00:19underlining just how quickly fortunes can change in the second tier.
00:24Well, Moza, your team showed plenty of heart and determination today,
00:27especially to get back into the game from 1-0 down.
00:30Are you feeling proud of the players after that one?
00:32Yes, especially the circumstances gone 1-0 down in a tough place to come.
00:38They've been a real threat of lately at home.
00:41So to come back, I didn't really feel threatened in the game
00:47until we had to push and we opened a little bit up.
00:51But we were a bit passive first half and we addressed it at half-time
00:55to be a bit more aggressive.
00:56But we asked them to do a few things differently
01:00and it was just in between of being hard to beat
01:04and went to flip the switch of being more aggressive.
01:08Albion head into the final stretch of the season,
01:10hovering just above the relegation zone with the margin for error increasingly slim.
01:15After more than 30 league matches, they have been sitting around 21st place,
01:21only a point clear of the bottom three,
01:23meaning every result carries huge significance.
01:27James Morrison has taken interim charge during a turbulent season for the club
01:31and insists there is still belief that they can steer themselves to safety.
01:36And we needed something to hang on to, really.
01:38But credit to the lads when going 0-0 down,
01:41coming back and kept fighting to the end.
01:46I was having some changes in my mind, but I felt the team was there.
01:52And the bigger picture as well,
01:54we were coming up against a game on Wednesday, a game on Saturday.
01:57I was trying to look after Daryl, because I'm going to need him.
02:02You know, I lost Christian as well, so he was a big miss in the game as well.
02:06So all and all, positive, a reaction what we needed after Saturday.
02:11So I'm pleased with that.
02:14I said to the lads, they've got to believe in the goal that we're trying to set as well.
02:19And I've been talking it all week.
02:21We all need to believe.
02:22So this just tells me that we can.
02:29But it's only one game now.
02:31So we've got to keep doing it and do it, don't get carried away.
02:35There's big challenges ahead.
02:37And let's go from there.
02:40With roughly final 10 games to play,
02:43albeit no survival will depend on turning competitive performances into points
02:47if they can rediscover consistency and belief.
02:50The baggies still have time to ensure their long history remains in the championship
02:54rather than slipping into the third tier of English football.
