00:00Where is retired Air Force Major General William Neal McCasland?
00:04He's been missing since February 28th, and let's just say things are fishy.
00:08Here's The Post's senior reporter, Chris Neesey.
00:10Retired Air Force Major and UFO expert General William Neal McCasland has been missing for more than a week
00:16after vanishing without a trace from his Albuquerque, New Mexico home.
00:19And an investigative journalist is warning that due to his expertise,
00:23his disappearance constitutes a grave national security threat, potentially.
00:27Local cops, as well as the FBI, have been asking the public's help in finding him
00:31as the search effort intensifies.
00:33But journalist Ross Colpart said on his Reality Check podcast this week
00:37that he has knowledge of some of the United States' most sensitive secrets,
00:41including deep knowledge about what the U.S. government might not be telling the public
00:45regarding extraterrestrials.
00:46The 68-year-old apparently left his house on foot on February 28th,
00:50leaving his phone behind, and hasn't been heard of or seen since.
00:55The Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office has issued a silver alert to help get his face out there
01:00in the hopes that it would lead to some tips.
01:02But so far, no major leads in the case have been reported so far.
01:06McCasland used to be head of research at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio,
01:11where he oversaw classified space weapons programs.
01:14That base is famous for hosting fragments of extraterrestrial debris
01:18that has allegedly came from UFO hotspot Roswell, New Mexico.
01:24Colthart said it's no coincidence that McCasland's disappearance coincides
01:29with President Trump recently speaking about the government's knowledge about UFOs
01:32and the possibility of releasing previously classified information.
01:38And, you know, Colthart noted that McCasland was supportive
01:41of giving the public more information about those classified topics.
