A major milestone for India’s cheetah conservation mission.Namibian cheetah Jwala has given birth to five cubs at Kuno National Park, marking the 10th successful cheetah litter in India.With this birth, the number of India-born cubs has reached 33, and the total cheetah population in the country has grown to 53.The moment is another big success for Project Cheetah, which aims to restore the species decades after it went extinct in India.Wildlife staff, veterinarians, and conservation teams continue to monitor the cubs and mother closely.
