00:49:10He doesn't accept it.
00:49:13And somehow, this Meccan unbeliever gave his word of safety to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
00:49:26God entrusts the Prophet with this responsibility.
00:49:28In other words, in today's terms, he's validating our passport.
00:49:33That's how the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was able to enter Mecca.
00:49:37It was a year of sorrow, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was saddened and distressed because he had also been subjected to insults from the people of Taif.
00:49:54Thereupon, Allah Almighty, in order to reward and console His Prophet, unexpectedly sent him to a mosque far away from the Masjid al-Haram one night.
00:50:12His arrival at Al-Aqsa that night is referred to as Isra.
00:50:29He who brought the Messenger of Allah from the Sacred Mosque to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, whose surroundings We have made most blessed.
00:50:40So why does Allah Almighty bring His Prophet there?
00:50:47لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ عَيَاتِنَا
00:50:49Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, also states and explains the reason there.
00:50:56Allah Almighty revealed His signs and miracles to His Prophet in order to show him some of His signs, and to show miracles to those who do not believe.
00:51:18Allah Almighty bestows this favor upon His Prophet.
00:51:24Those verses of Allah are against those who do not believe; Allah Almighty says to those who do not believe, "I sent my Prophet to that place which you consider far away."
00:51:40It takes you there and back in one night.
00:51:43"I possess that power," says our Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He, and as a result, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was blessed with the spiritual presence of Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He.
00:51:58And he is also honored with two great gifts from Allah, the Exalted and Glorified be He.
00:52:06My Lord, Glorified and Exalted, bestowed upon me the gift of prayer—which, in the words of our Prophet, is the light of my eyes—five times a day that night.
00:52:22And thereupon, Allah Almighty revealed the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah, which are recited in our mihrabs after every evening prayer, as the Messenger of Faith.
00:52:41He gives it to our Prophet as a gift.
00:52:43It continues with "Amene Resulü" in two verses, and "Tahiyyat billahi esselam aleyke yühe nebiyyü ve rahmetullahi ve berekatü" (Greetings from Allah, peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy and blessings of Allah).
00:53:00Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He, has commanded us to recite that incident which occurred between Himself and the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, during prayer.
00:53:13And this incident, which the polytheists did not expect and which even became a subject of ridicule among them, as I mentioned earlier...
00:53:31The first message of this event is that Allah Almighty is saying to the polytheists, "This is how I honor my Prophet."
00:53:44And they narrated it to Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
00:53:52O Abu Bakr, do you know what your friend Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) says around the Haram, around the Kaaba?
00:54:07Before even hearing anything, Hazrat Abu Bakr said, "By Allah, whatever he says is true."
00:54:16"Whatever he says is absolutely true," he replies.
00:54:24They tell the story themselves.
00:54:27Hazrat Abu Bakr, with his dignity, didn't even say to them, "Go ahead and tell us what he's saying."
00:54:34Those noble companions, who trusted their friends so much and earned the title of Siddiq (the truthful one), never said a word to the first Caliph, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
00:54:51That is Abu Bakr, may Allah be pleased with him, who believed without hesitation.
00:54:58Honestly, whatever he says is true.
00:54:59The polytheists themselves begin to tell the story.
00:55:02So tonight, we will go from here to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is far away, and from there, we will ascend to Allah, which is called the Miraj.
00:55:15He states that he ascended to His divine presence and saw the countenance of Allah Almighty.
00:55:23And when they narrated, Hazrat Abu Bakr said, "By Allah, everything they said is true."
00:55:34He's absolutely right.
00:55:36He's absolutely right.
00:55:38They begin each sentence by saying, "By Allah, Hazrat Abu Bakr is speaking the truth."
00:55:46Then they asked Abu Bakr, "Why did you say that before even listening to them?"
00:55:56Because, says the first Caliph and loyal friend of the Messenger of Allah, "I have faith in something greater than them."
00:56:07Prophethood is an even greater miracle.
00:56:12I have faith in Him.
00:56:15From here to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and from there to the Ascension, which is a smaller miracle in comparison.
00:56:23He said, "How can I not believe this when I believe in even greater miracles?" The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) responded to him as follows...
00:56:38By God, you are Siddiq, you are a true Turk.
00:56:43By God, you are Siddiq, and after him is the title of Hazrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).
00:56:53He is referred to as Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
00:57:01So, by celebrating the Miraj in this way every year, are we demonstrating that sincerity and submission?
00:57:18These days are always among us.
00:57:22And tilkel eyyamu nudaviluha beynennas says our Lord Celle Celaluhu
00:57:28And so, these days keep circulating among us humans.
00:57:33Why this rotation? Because what follows is the night of acquittal and then Ramadan, during the last ten days of Ramadan...
00:57:52The Night of Power is Laylat al-Tulqadr.
00:57:55"Hayru min elfi şehriye" (It is better than a thousand months) is what our Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He, expresses.
00:58:00A night more blessed than a thousand months.
00:58:03Why does our Lord, Glorified and Exalted be He, cause these days and nights to rotate among us in this way?
00:58:10His mercy, his compassion, his kindness towards us is so great.
00:58:21Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, invites everyone who has faith, indeed all of humanity, to faith and to salvation.
00:58:32Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, for the sake of this night, for the sake of the coming Night of Forgiveness, and for the sake of Ramadan, which is the preceding and the last of these,
00:58:46In honor of Laylat al-Qadr
00:58:49May our Lord, the Exalted and Glorious, include us among those whom He has forgiven.
00:58:55May Allah Almighty make us among His servants who sincerely and purposefully experience this night, just like Abu Bakr al-Siddiq.
00:59:12This is a miracle that our Lord, Glorified and Exalted, has shown us, and it has been debated by Islamic scholars.
00:59:21Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) depart spiritually, or both spiritually and physically?
00:59:30That's where what we call the "bandage" of the business comes in.
00:59:35We believe that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went there alive, both spiritually and physically.
00:59:46Because in his hadith, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) expresses it to us in that way.
00:59:52We need to affirm this, just like Hazrat Abu Bakr al-Siddiq did.
01:00:00This is the right thing to do for the sake of our faith and the safety of our afterlife.

01:00:11Now let me share an anecdote on this subject.
01:00:18An unbeliever says this to Ali while he is praying.
01:00:25Why do you pray? What is the benefit of this prayer?
01:00:31Will this prayer save you?
01:00:34While he was saying a few things, حضرت Ali responded as follows.
01:00:42Okay, he says, let's say we didn't pray, I've become like you.
01:00:48God Almighty did not ask us about this in the Hereafter.
01:00:54In that case
01:00:57I have nothing to lose because I pray.
01:01:04But consider the opposite.
01:01:06Allah Almighty has commanded this to each and every one of His servants in a unique way.
01:01:14And in the Hereafter, when Allah Almighty fulfills His promise and questions...
01:01:19Who will come out on top?
01:01:24Of course, you, Ali, he says.
01:01:28Then, my dear brothers and sisters.
01:01:31The Miraj incident as well
01:01:34when we believe
01:01:35We have nothing to lose.
01:01:37But in the words of Abu Bakr
01:01:39In the words of Abu Bakr, the truthful one
01:01:42I'm bigger than him
01:01:45I have faith.
01:01:47That is prophecy.
01:01:48If we have faith in prophethood
01:01:51Also the Isra and Mi'raj event
01:01:54We believe.
01:01:57My Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He
01:01:59our faith
01:02:01May He grant you strength.
01:02:04My Lord, Glorified and Exalted is He
01:02:06tonight
01:02:08May it bring blessings to us all.
01:02:10To be able to spend it in worship
01:02:12May God grant it.
01:02:15These days
01:02:16Our Lord, Glorified and Exalted be His Name
01:02:18by brutalizing us
01:02:19almost like a campaign period
01:02:22Of course we
01:02:24also in times when
01:02:26We perform our religious duties.
01:02:28But tonight
01:02:29by doing more
01:02:32To God
01:02:33with the desire to approach
01:02:35by doing more
01:02:36approaching him
