02:02una
02:03sentima entrada ofensiva de nosotros por todo
02:06Albert, come to the right side, Mark, send it up
02:08Albert, you're one of the few people who can relate to what Junior Caminero is doing at his age 45
02:13from runs at 21 years old now hitting a home run like this 22
02:16how hard is it to be that young and put up these kinds of numbers and come up in these
02:22kinds of spots
02:23it's really hard but I think the best thing about you know Caminero is that he's not afraid to this
02:29moment I mean he loves this spot
02:32he's leasing, he's willing to open up and get better and I think when this kid figure out and get
02:39better
02:39heads up because there's a lot of little things especially on his swing that he can get better at it
02:45but you know at 22 I think right now you don't touch it because he's doing what he's doing you
02:50know putting big numbers but you know having the opportunity for me and the Dominican Republic being his manager was
02:56a privilege and seeing the things that he was able to do there and the
03:01it was no doubt that in my mind to put him in this roster and knowing that he loves this
03:06spot that he was going to come huge for us and I mean this is just a glimpse of the
03:12things that he's going to hopefully continue to do in this tournament
03:15given how tight the game was at that point what was that dugout like when he hit that home run
03:18we saw the celebration outside
03:20I mean I think you know everybody's lose you know they know they're just one pitch one at bat and
03:26before that often clicks in you know and I think it happens you know after
03:30you know our bat right there and starting off with our captain Manny Machado you know with the double and
03:36I mean it was just pretty impressive the quality of bats you know you had to get credit especially early
03:42in the game to an incredible pitching you know they were keeping our guys off balance and you know we
03:48make the adjustment that we had to make to score some run later on.
03:52We'll come here in the second row on the right side.
06:23Welcome to the right side, Daniel.
07:49En aquel entonces dedicaste unas palabras a Junior.
07:56iba a estar.
09:11aquí representándonos a nosotros.
10:53Albert, we'll do two more, second row on the last, and then we'll finish with Manny Alpi in the middle.
10:57Albert, can I just talk about O'Neal Cruz, who gets the pinch hit situation there.
11:02How else is that to, especially women off maybe a little bit more?
11:07It's funny because when I walk, when I walk to Haney, I was just talking with Santana in the group.
11:12And I was like, hey man, you do, if Marte's, her back comes in, you want to pinch it for
11:19Haney.
11:19And he looks at me, he's like, are you serious?
11:21I'm like, no, I'm not serious.
11:22Like, you coming.
11:24And I wanted you to hit.
11:25I told Tatis, I'm like, I remember Classic who told me about it.
11:29He's like, who's going to hit for Marte?
11:30I was like, it's going to be O'Neal Cruz.
11:32And he's probably going to hit that Corona sign over there in right field.
11:36It wasn't quite that close, but I mean, you know, having an opportunity to get those guys a bat.
11:42I mean, Hank and Santana, I'm in, I'm sure I'm going to give him some a bat.
11:46Those guys are guys that are going to, probably going to have to come huge off the bench, you know,
11:51and get one huge a bat for us and one again, you know.
11:54Today it was O'Neal Cruz that hit the big home runs for us.
11:58But I think at the end of the day, just giving everybody the opportunity,
12:02and I'm going to try to do my best to do that.
12:06That will finish with Penelope in the fourth row in the middle.
12:09Hey, Coach, this is Poppy with Areskina.
12:11So we all hear the fan environment in the stadium, and you've lived it.
12:16But do you remember, at what age did you really realize the faithful animated fandom
12:22of the Dominican fans in baseball?
12:25I had a privilege of working in the stadium, in the Escogido side, the Dominican Republic,
12:33selling friki-taki, which is like pan con huevo repollo.
12:37So if you don't know that, but I was, you know, with my mom, doing that thing.
12:43I mean, I grew up in that environment, you know.
12:46I mean, seeing Aguilas Escogido, Aguilas Lise, you know, that rival.
12:51I think my last game that I watched in the Dominican Republic, I think Stanley Javier here for the cycle.
13:00That was back when they used to wear those yellow uniforms, which they were ugly,
13:05but it was, he had a great game.
13:08But he, you know, that was my last game that I watched in the DR.
13:12And then later on, I had the honor to play for our team a year and a half ago, two
13:18years ago.
13:19I mean, I had the opportunity to be the manager of the Escogido and play that big series against Lise.
13:26I mean, it was, it was pretty amazing.
13:29I mean, I played more serious, playoff, loud plays,
13:33but there was no plays more loud than that game six and game seven, the Dominican Republic.
13:38So I, I, I lived that.
13:40And, you know, being part now of this world baseball class,
13:43this is something that, that you're going to see.
13:45Our fans love baseball.
13:46We breathe, we eat, we, we live baseball.
13:50And that's something that you're going to see in the next couple of weeks here in Miami.
13:56Okay, thanks, Alvin.
14:00Bendiciones.
14:01Gracias.
14:02Yeah, we'll see something else coming up.
