00:00You've worked very closely with President Trump, and I know he's endorsed your candidacy for office multiple times.
00:06What do you ascribe to his personality and leadership style that he's willing to take bold action that previous presidents
00:12seemed incapable of doing?
00:15You know, I think that it's the he's a unique character.
00:19President Trump, people say he's one of one or there's never going to be another one like him.
00:24And I think a lot of it, so much has gone into the formation of his decision making, whether it's
00:30being a business owner, being involved in so many different things in his life and getting him to this point.
00:35But he has a unique ability to to really refine very complex issues into simple, simplistic kind of views of
00:44like black and white about how to react to something.
00:47And and more often than not, I think he has a really good calculus.
00:50And and on this, I think he's right on this.
00:52I know it was risky. It is definitely risky.
00:55And a lot of people are questioning the decision and the outcome.
00:58But President Trump is just as a unique, creative side to him.
01:01He likes to listen to a lot of people and get a lot of input from people.
01:05He values the expertise of others.
01:09And and then he's willing to make a decision that many won't make.
01:12You know, he doesn't get frozen in paralysis of analysis.
01:16He he he makes a decision and looks at the risks and the rewards.
01:20And I think in the in in the course of history, this is this decision is going to be really
01:27pivotal.
01:27I mean, when you look at the potential impact that this decision could have on how many centuries of unrest,
01:36war on no peace in the Middle East for so long and the opportunity.
01:43And I think you can go all the way back, Ellie, to the Abraham Accords, which were so novel to
01:49to say to these people, you know, not to look at everybody judgmentally.
01:53It's like you have a population of people in this country.
01:55You have a population of people in your country.
01:57I don't care, you know, what your religion is or what your ethnicity is.
02:02Is we want your people to have a chance at prosperity.
02:04And President Trump looks at it that way and said, why don't we all join together?
02:09Let's have peace.
02:10Let's be prosperous.
02:11Let's innovate.
02:12There's so many great things about the history of the Middle East that has been clouded out by by the
02:18Iranian regime.
02:19Really, you know, I mean, look at the pictures of Iran before 1979.
02:23You know, the Persian society was very sophisticated, educated, innovative in the world, in world human history.
02:30And yet look what we have.
02:31We've had these dark ages under the Ayatollah and the Mullah and the IRGC, you know, the largest state sponsor
02:38of terror in the region and the world, you know, killing thousands of Americans.
02:42And President Trump took decisive action and said, enough of this.
02:44Why are we doing this?
02:45And I think it actually took away this whole false narrative that you see that's, you know, the anti-Semitism
02:51that's been emerging, the situation in Gaza, the Palestinian Authority really having no credibility, even among Palestinians and people within
03:00the green line in Israel.
03:01The Arab sheikhs don't support them.
03:04You know, so many of these things.
03:05President Trump was able to actually look at all of those factors and make a decision based on let's go
03:11to another step.
03:12Let's try something nobody else has done.
03:14Let's bring people together before we continue to wait for this Palestinian Authority issue to, you know, try to resolve
03:21itself, which guess what?
03:23It never would have.
03:23And I think President Trump recognized that.
03:25So now in an incredible situation, you have the U.S., you know, supporting the Israelis going in and starting
03:32this Operation Epic Fury.
03:34And then you have a retaliation from the Iranian regime after others in the Arab nations that might you might
03:41say are like maybe not allies, but supportive in some ways or not, you know, allowing certain things.
03:46And now here, you know, going at they struck Oman, they struck Qatar, they struck Bahrain.
03:53And now they're all joining forces and working with us to try to eviscerate this really evil regime that has
04:01been a dark cloud over the whole region.
04:03And I think that people see an opportunity for peace and prosperity.
04:07This isn't over yet.
04:08There's a long way to go.
04:09But I think that the early stages of this look like it's going to be a future that's going to
04:14be really just that we haven't seen in generations and probably centuries.
