00:29rather be traded than cut but like I think from a business perspective it made both made sense for both
00:35those guys to be cut Kyler's already been cut to a will be cut if the Dolphins can't work out
00:41a trade and I think it like at this point the Dolphins would have to pay almost all of his
00:45salary to facilitate trade which they're going to be responsible for anyway.
00:50But I think with both those guys what's interesting is they're going to get out on the market and they're
00:56going to have the they're going to be playing on an offset and for people who don't know that basically
01:01means their original teams are picking up the freight for them minus the minimum in 2026 which allows Kyler and
01:12Tua to make pure football decisions.
01:14What is best for me football wise and we've seen all these stories over the last few years of guys
01:21basically resurrecting their careers at that position now that's Geno Smith Sam Darnold Baker Mayfield Daniel Jones and so like
01:31now I think like Tua and Kyler in this really interesting spot where they can just say whatever's best for
01:37my career like there's no difference money wise and all these teams that need quarterbacks
01:44it doesn't make a difference for them and in fact they're more like these guys are more attractive of course
01:49because you can get them on the minimum.
