Don’t make someone fall in love with you
if you’re not prepared to love them back.

Don’t let them lean on you
if you know you’ll step away when it gets heavy.

Don’t offer reassurance you don’t intend to maintain.
Don’t promise forever if you’re unsure about tomorrow.

Hope is powerful.
And when you give it to someone carelessly,
you are not being charming —
you are being reckless.

Leading someone on out of boredom, loneliness, or ego
is not harmless.
It builds emotional investment without foundation.

If you’re not ready, say so.
If you’re unsure, admit it.
If you’re healing, focus on healing.

Clarity may disappoint someone temporarily.
But false promises damage them long-term.

Maturity in love isn’t about intensity.
It’s about integrity.

If you enter someone’s heart,
enter with intention —
or don’t enter at all.
