00:18So here is how master line numbering from the basic part to the more unique formatting tricks.
00:23So if you just need numbers to appear next to every line in your documents,
00:27then go to the layout tab on the ribbon, click on the line number and select
00:34continuous number to the whole document.
00:38There is another selective way numbering specific paragraph.

00:45So highlight the paragraph you want to exempt.
00:48For example, I have highlighted this paragraph or a line
00:52and then go to the line numbering and click on the surpass for current paragraph.
00:57And now click on line numbering. Again, go to the line numbering option.
01:03Click on the layout. Click on the line numbers.
01:07Add line numbering and click on the continuous and click OK and OK.
01:12And here you can see that there is another way which is called customs interval.
01:18If you find a number on every single line to cluttered, you can set them to appear every two or
01:24ten lines.
01:25So for this, you need to go to the layout.
01:28Click on the line numbering arrow.
01:31Click on the line numbering option.
01:34So in the page setup, click on the layout and click on the line numbers.
01:39Click on the add line numbering.
