(askanews) - Il Segretario alla Difesa statunitense Pete Hegseth afferma che è un "errore di calcolo davvero grave" da parte dei leader iraniani presumere che gli Stati Uniti non possano sostenere il loro sforzo bellico. "Le stupide guerre politicamente corrette del passato erano l'opposto di quello che stiamo facendo qui", ha affermato durante una conferenza stampa a Tampa, in Florida, insieme all'Ammiraglio Brad Cooper, capo del Comando Centrale. "L'Iran spera che non possiamo sostenere questa situazione, il che è un errore di calcolo davvero grave per il Corpo delle Guardie della Rivoluzione Islamica in Iran", ha aggiunto Hegseth.
