00:48Sort of perfect for me because by the time I got old enough, he was retired.
00:52I had the interest and he had the time and the ability to be able to sort of like help

00:58While becoming a Formula One driver was never on the cards,
01:01Mihailovic found another way to stay connected to the sport he loves.
01:05A friend was working for Audi and I managed to sneak out of school and get down to the Grand

01:10and they were selling headphones on the way in, like, you know, earmuffs.
01:14I was like, as if we need earmuffs.
01:16And then we got in and the F1 started.
01:19Insane sound, this like visceral, like wild, like it just didn't make sense how fast they were.
01:25It planted the seed.
01:26I was like, I've got to figure out how to have something like this one day, you know.
01:30The 2025 Australian Grand Prix drew its biggest ever crowd with over 450,000 fans through the gates
01:39across the weekend, bringing in more than $300 million to the local economy.
01:44For fans like Mihailovic, though, the attraction is simple.
