00:00Yeah, so total grassroots, we got a couple of players with experience.
00:04The majority, it's completely foreign to them, which I love the challenge.
00:08You have your own experience, though, coming from the University of Tampa.
00:11Yes.
00:11Between that and, you know, your Hollywood roots, if you want to call them that.
00:16Yeah, well, I got 30 years of flag experience.
00:18I was inducted into the Long Island Flag Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
00:22I coached at the University of Tampa the last three years.
00:25We were ranked third in the nation, and now I'm excited to be back home at LIU.
00:29Have parents ever asked you for an autograph or anything?
00:33Yeah, and a signed movie poster.
00:36Coach, what are you most looking forward to about this season?
00:38Building the culture, the foundation for many years to come.
00:41We have an amazing group of young ladies that are going to help me build that.
00:45Obviously, a lot of experience in the game, especially on Long Island.
00:47Is Long Island becoming a leader for flag football, even at the high school level, would you say?
00:51Absolutely.
00:52I think it's grown by leaps and bounds, and it's been a significant increase in every high school each year.
00:58So it's just going to get better.
