00:00They're not sort of like, oh, take a look at these abs, take a look at this ass.
00:05It feels like a proper, like, take a look at my flat ass.
00:07Yeah, it just feels like a proper, you know, proper story beat.
00:10And, like, I hope that we sort of, you know, we just did them together
00:13and they feel like parts of the story rather than a sort of shopping mall.
00:16You need to pick, yeah.
00:18Finally made it.
00:19Veterans.
00:19It's nice to see you guys. How are you feeling with all the travel?
00:22You've been really everywhere. That's a question for you.
00:25Yeah, I've really been, um, I feel like this week,
00:29I've reached my capacity.
00:30Aww.
00:31And, uh...
00:34We'll make it super easy for you.
00:37Super easy. It's so good to see you guys.
00:39I mean, I've made it all the way to the end of this season
00:42and I've lapped up every second of it.
00:45I did, however, watch, um, your sex scene
00:48when I was sitting next to my mum on the sofa.
00:50So I had the volume all the way down
00:52because I was like, I don't need her asking me what I'm watching,
00:55what's going on.
00:56I'm like, I'm not, I'm not that girl
00:57who has that deep breathing going on.
01:00I don't have that relationship with...
01:02Some people do watch it with their parents.
01:04You'd be surprised if there are people that come there like,
01:06oh, I watch it with my mum, oh, I watch it.
01:07Have you watched it with your family?
01:08Hell no.
01:10Even worse for you guys.
01:11Yeah.
01:12Well, weirder for my, for, for family, actually,
01:14I think probably than for the actor,
01:15in all of a strange kind of way.
01:16Was there any, like, scenes,
01:18either romantic or otherwise,
01:20that you were kind of nervous about
01:22filming this, in this second part?
01:24The intimacy scenes, for me.
01:25Yeah, the intimacy scenes.
01:26Yeah.
01:27I think you can always feel with,
01:28particularly with a show like Bridgerton,
01:30because it's part of the show,
01:32I think it's the scenes where I found it most difficult
01:34to keep at bay the idea of, like,
01:36oh, you have to sort of deliver something,
01:40you know?
01:40And actually, it was really important
01:42to try and put that aside
01:44and just do the scene together.
01:45And, you know, it's not a sort of like,
01:46I mean, that's what I like about scenes, actually,
01:48is they're not sort of like,
01:49oh, take a look at these abs,
01:51take a look at this ass.
01:53It feels like a proper, like,
01:54Take a look at my flat ass.
01:55It just feels like a proper,
01:57you know, a proper story beat.
01:59And, like, I hope that we sort of,
02:00you know, we just did them together
02:01and they feel like parts of the story
02:03rather than a sort of shopping mall.
02:04You need to get, yeah.
02:05Yeah, exactly, yeah.
02:06Yeah, they're tastefully done.
02:08Yes, I'm glad.
02:09Tastefully done.
02:10Are there any parts of your characters as well
02:12that you think have rubbed off on you?
02:15I mean, I sort of feel like
02:15I've grown up with him a little bit.
02:17Yeah.
02:17So, you know, I've been playing him
02:18for five, six years now.
02:20So, yeah, I mean,
02:20I can't really trace exactly in what ways,
02:23but I sort of, yeah,
02:25I've sort of grown with him.
02:26I sort of feel like a little bit
02:28more mature, maybe?
02:29Wiser?
02:29Wiser?
02:30Wiser.
02:30Much wiser.
02:31He's very wise.
02:32Is he now?
02:33Yeah, very wise.
02:34What about you?
02:35What wiser?
02:36What wise stuff is he?
02:37You should see the poetry he whips out.
02:39Oh, what?
02:40That's the whole wisdom.
02:42It's just memory.
02:42No, but also just the way you,
02:44the way I think you interpret that
02:47into your present life now
02:48and the way you see life,
02:49I think is very wise.
02:51Yeah.
02:52There you go.
02:53So I have changed.
02:53It has rubbed off on me.
02:55How about you, yeah?
02:56What, anything?
02:57Maybe her resilience,
02:58like her boundaries that she sets.
03:01Before, I think I was probably
03:02a bit more of a people pleaser,
03:03but now I think
03:04I don't really care as much.
03:06I'm still trying to get there.
03:08Yeah.
03:08I'm still way too much
03:09of a people pleaser for my own good.
03:11I mean, don't get me wrong,
03:11it's still in there sometimes,
03:12but I think that resilience
03:14is definitely rubbed off on me a bit.
03:16I've always said Eloise for me,
03:19and she's always been like my,
03:21both, I mean, both Claudia and Eloise
03:23are both my spirit animal.
03:24Like, I couldn't relate more.
03:26Obviously, as a Bridgerton,
03:28if you had to give some advice to her
03:30on like someone who's reluctant to date,
03:31what would your advice be for?
03:33Because you guys are in it.
03:35You're in full romance mode
03:36in this season.
03:38I'm really asking for myself
03:39as someone who's reluctant to date.
03:40You know what?
03:41I think the only thing I could say
03:43is like, even if like
03:46you have to go via screen,
03:47get off the screen immediately.
03:49Do you know what I mean?
03:49I feel like you can lose time
03:50sort of like texting someone
03:52on a dating app,
03:53and I think you can never find out
03:55what you can find out
03:56when you're in person.
03:57And I think maybe something
03:58that the show, you know,
04:00maybe one of the reasons
04:01why the show is successful,
04:01I think, is that you're in a world
04:03where we're dealing with love
04:04and dating and meeting people,
04:05but there are no phones.
04:07And yes, okay, there is a performance
04:08that you could argue that like,
04:10you know, having a phone
04:10is a bit of a performance
04:11and same with all the Tom stuff.
04:14But I think Benedict and Sophie
04:15sort of just meet in person.
04:18I know, I like that.
04:18I think maybe it's that.
04:19Maybe just get, you know,
04:20fine, like first little text,
04:21but then just meet them, meet them.
04:23Yeah.
04:24I think you learn so much more.
04:25We need more balls
04:26is what we need for us to...
04:28I beg your pardon?
04:29Balls.
04:29Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:30Well, also more balls
04:31to go up to people,
04:32but also more masquerade balls.
04:34You definitely need more balls.
04:35More balls, yeah.
04:36I suppose, actually.
04:37I probably need more balls
04:39in my life,
04:39but there you go.
04:41We're getting none of that.
04:42She said it right now,
04:43right here, ladies and gentlemen.
04:48It's lovely to meet you guys.
04:50Good luck with this season.
04:52Thank you so much.
04:53Thanks, I care.
04:54Bye-bye.
