00:29first. Are there any past Sherlock's or Moriarty's that kind of inspired you
00:34guys when you came to doing this? You know as a young kid going to see the the
00:38Robert Downey Jr. version like it's just you're blown away as a kid for like how
00:43witty and how kind of how established the style is you know in the mind palace and
00:49how the fist of a telecom is hitting him. I think Guy Ritchie's version that Donald's
00:54talking about yeah discombobulated. I love that one so much and then and then and
00:59it was the first time I'd seen Sherlock played on screen but for me when I
01:01close my eyes and picture Sherlock as Benedict Cumberbatch and I just think
01:04Guy Ritchie's version and and and the the other version with Benedict Cumberbatch I
01:09think they both perfectly encapsulate such different interpretations so
01:13together it's just such a well-rounded bit of that they're my two biggest kind of
01:16inspirations I'd say. Yeah good ones good choices you and Max on screen have
01:22quite a cheeky kind of well you particularly with him have a very cheeky
01:26relationship did that transfer off set are you that kind of annoying little brother to
01:31him? Maybe a little bit like but I think just I love Max so much I feel like I
01:38learned so much from him he's so open and just like I would honestly I would love
01:46for Max to be on every single job I do for the rest of my life I think he's just
01:49the
01:50nicest guy to work with and just such a sensational actor like yeah I know we've
01:55discussed how we want to be efficient going through this but I can literally
01:58sit here and sing Max's praises for who he is as a person but as an actor and as
02:02and as Mycroft I just think he does such a good job yeah we we really love Max yeah
02:07we're very lucky to him yeah he's great I've been interviewing him since like 2013
02:10I've like found pictures in my phone I was like wow like yeah been doing this a long
02:14time he's a great guy he is a great guy now having played obviously Sherlock Holmes and
02:19uh Moriarty they are obviously like arch enemies normally but who do you think would be the better
02:26detective you guys know these characters now so who do you actually think is the better detective
02:31out of the two of them can I let you go first on this one all right um I think
02:38I think Sherlock
02:41would be the better detective because Moriarty doesn't want to be a detective you can't be good
02:46it's something you don't want to don't want to do you know what I mean like I like I'm never
02:51going
02:51to be a good accountant because I don't want to be an accountant you know so in that way you

02:56good accounting I was like good accounting yeah don't test me on my camera please we're on camera
03:02um but uh that's a great answer uh yeah I think uh yeah I think that I think that's it

03:08know like I think how could it not be it's fair to say there are plenty things that Moriarty would

03:13far better than Sherlock I think you've answered that bang on because it's like Sherlock's a
03:17detective and Moriarty's not are you competitive in any way the two of you I'm sure there's loads
03:21of things we're not like equal at everything we do are you competitive though the two of you
03:28I think we are a bit yeah I don't think there are many things that we like that we massively
03:33crossover I love my my sports don't know's an incredible runner um oh true yeah don't know
03:38don't know's 5k times are terrifying I wouldn't want to get near I wouldn't want to get near that
03:43couldn't get couldn't imagine getting there um yeah chess I would say I gave chess I'm not an
03:50amazing chess player but I was I was very fitting you know Sherlock Moriarty let's play some let's play
03:54some chess and don't know's like you know as you do doing loads of other things and I like we

04:00a few times and I think I like slightly got the the better of him but it's like when I'm

05:44remind you change my change my nappy he did mention we were doing a bunch of press yesterday and he

05:50he says it's funny because he remembered like you know holding me as a baby and now I wondered if
05:56he would like to remind you of certain things of like when you were a baby because I for sure

06:00my nephews get older would be like I changed your happy like I wiped your bum like don't talk to

06:04like that like that he didn't get that descriptive and visceral but I wouldn't I wouldn't put it past
06:09him I mean maybe but yeah he did he has mentioned a few times yeah um holding me as a
06:13baby and then now
