00:07I want every girl to be able to complete her education and choose her own future.
00:11So Malala Fund is providing alternative education to girls who are right now banned by the Taliban
00:17from going to school, and it's more than 2 million girls who are affected by the ban
00:22that the Taliban have imposed.
00:23The Malala Fund is doing everything to give education to girls at their homes.
00:28We are supporting Afghan partners who are providing alternative education
00:33through television, radios, online platforms.
00:36I had a conversation with a few Afghan girls who are part of these underground secret schools,
00:41and they were telling me how learning is giving them hope in this dark time.
00:46And one girl said that even reading a book alone in her room is an act of resistance.
00:51My message to all Afghan girls is that we stand with you.
00:54You are brave. You are resilient.
00:56You are resilient. Keep learning, even if it's in secret.
