MAN ATTEMPTS HANDSTAND AFTER BROKEN WRIST
WITH VID
BY LAKSHYARTHA SHARMA
Watch this incredible clip where a man attempts a handstand just three months after breaking his wrist — with a surprising twist.
James Ritchie from Penticton, Canada, captured the moment he pushed himself back into training following a wrist fracture he suffered months earlier.
In the video, James balances upside down before attempting a controlled movement, when an audible crack can be heard. However, he later explained that although he had broken his wrist three months prior, it had fully healed.
The sound heard during the attempt did not signal a fresh break, and doctors confirmed it was only a sprain with no new fractures.
James shared that while the bone will never completely reattach where the original crack occurred, medical professionals reassured him that no additional damage had been done during the attempt.
In a follow-up clip, James performs an impressive L-sit to handstand push-up, demonstrating his strength and recovery progress just months after the injury.
One user had previously commented on his original injury video, writing: “U did that with so much ease, how is it that ur wrist broke like that?”
After seeing his recovery clip, another viewer encouraged him, saying: “So awesome! Keep at it.”
