00:16A quiet night in Dubai, then suddenly a flash in the sky. Seconds later, an explosion rocks
00:23the area near the US consulate. Flames erupt, thick black smoke pours into the air, and
00:29the chilling moment is caught on camera. This is what we know. Late Tuesday evening, a suspected
00:36Iranian drone struck the parking lot adjacent to the US consulate in Dubai, located along
00:42Al-Sifh Road. The drone did not hit the main chancellery building, but it slammed into a
00:48parking area just outside the secure perimeter. Video verified by major news outlets shows a bright
00:55orange fireball, vehicles engulfed in flames, heavy smoke rising into the night sky, emergency
01:02sirens echoing across the area. Witnesses reported hearing a sharp blast before seeing fire spread
01:08across multiple parked vehicles. Within minutes, Dubai emergency teams were on the scene. Dubai's
01:15media office confirmed it was a drone-related incident. Fire crews contained the blaze within
01:21approximately 45 minutes. Shortly after, officials declared the fire fully extinguished. No injuries
01:28were reported, neither among US diplomatic personnel nor local residents. US Secretary of State
01:34Marco Rubio later confirmed a drone struck a parking lot next to the consulate's chancellery
01:40building igniting a fire. All US personnel were accounted for. Last update I had with seconds
01:46before getting before these cameras was that a drone unfortunately struck a parking lot adjacent
01:52to the to the chancellery building and then set off a fire in that place. All personnel are accounted
01:57for. As you're aware, we began drawing down personnel from our diplomatic facilities in advance of this. In
02:04the cases, for example, of Beirut, we basically drew down to bare bones as well as in Baghdad and
02:12Erbil and in a couple other posts as well. So we've been very fortunate, obviously, but our embassies
02:18and our diplomatic facilities are under direct attack from a terroristic regime.
02:25At the time of the strike, the consulate had already reduced staff to essential personnel.
02:30All visa services, citizen appointments and notary services had been cancelled as a precaution.
02:36Reports indicate UAE air defenses were active in the area, though officials have not confirmed whether
02:42interception attempts were made or if the drone evaded defenses before impact.
02:47Since the weekend, hundreds of Iranian drones and missiles have reportedly been launched toward Gulf
02:53targets. The US State Department has urged Americans in 14 countries to depart now via commercial or charter
03:01flights. Dubai, known for luxury, skyscrapers and safety, suddenly became the scene of a geopolitical
03:08flashpoint. Diplomatic facilities are now direct targets in an escalating regional conflict.
03:14If tensions continue to rise, this may not be the last incident.
03:20Another drone?
03:21What?
03:24Leave from there, leave from there, leave from there, leave from there.
