00:00Good evening and welcome to the grand finale of the traitors Ireland uncloaked with me Kevin McGahern
00:0524 players 12 episodes six traitors three coffins and only one party
00:10What a series so fun Lynn as we debrief that dramatic last episode with all our finalists. Wilkin. Are you
00:17following this so far?
00:18The fan fair play to you. But before we go any further
00:21If you haven't watched the final episode of the traitors do that now on the RT player as this episode
00:26will be dropping more truth bombs than
00:27Ian at a round table
00:29Coming up we will have Siobhan McSweeney here to give us the lowdown and all the carry-on in the
00:35castle
00:36We will chat to the traitors turned faithful slayers Nick and Ben to unpack that final day and the winners
00:43Vanessa
00:43Ian and Kelly will be here for their first ever interview. Don't go anywhere
00:54What a finale we'll be chatting to the finalists very soon
00:58But now we are joined by the queen of the castle the magnificent Siobhan McSweeney
01:16All right, all right, that's actually that's like 20% too much. Yeah a bit much guys will rehearse it
01:22again
01:24Siobhan how are you first of all I am
01:27I'm overwhelmed and bewildered actually
01:31I'm really it's this is the first time I've seen I've just called them my babies
01:35I've just seen all the contestants there and it's really gorgeous to see them all
01:39And I have been away in a bubble filming something else so I really haven't been you have many
01:46You don't know the mania that is sweeping across this country. I really don't imagine if all four Beatles were
01:53just potty
01:53That's basically that's the level of hysteria. We're all the number of films we'd have about
02:01Well that finale was unbelievable was it as emotional for you as it was for the rest of us. Yes.
02:07Yes, I think I think what um, oh
02:10I I think what people need to
02:13Understand is that we all went through and I think our lovely contestants would agree
02:19The production team and myself and we we went through it with them. We were working the same hours
02:25I mean, nobody was working as hard as potty
02:28Although nobody ate as much as potty either
02:30So I think he's he got his wages from sandwiches
02:34Well, he needed the energy the poor man didn't sleep more than 45 minutes for two weeks
02:38I think but we were all doing it together and it like it really felt like we were together so
02:44It by the end. We were all at our very last shred of sanity. Yeah. Yeah, we were all demented
02:51The series was very Irish from the cup of fuckle to the cup on tea to the ole ole and
02:56don't even talk about the Carson
02:59I
03:00Now have one final important question to ask you
03:04Would you like a cup of tea?
03:06Yeah
03:09Take a tea tea tea tea tea tea tea tea tea tea no
03:12Don't drink to your coffee that makes you a traitor. You don't drink to your coffee. What the hell? Okay,
03:17one. It's grand. That's grand
03:19Jesus Christ
03:19Jesus Christ
03:22Oh
03:24Fucked up wished
03:26D for
03:27You
03:28You
03:28That's fucking nasty so it is
03:30Stop fucking saying that
03:31Right, nobody with fucking faith
03:33Ah fuck
03:33Excuse me, sorry
03:34I'm not a fucking hoggro
03:44We had to give potty the last words
03:46What is it about the show that made it feel particularly Irish to you?
03:50Well, I think I think we it's such a well-known franchise really and the whole challenge is to
03:57For it to be as good as the other one. Yeah, and also to put our own mark on it
04:02really
04:02So it was really lovely that we were able to have the cuplofocle that we a lot of the iconography
04:07was very Celtic
04:08The ome, I loved the ome, yeah
04:10Yeah, and and lots of other things like even the the school benches BQ
04:15Yeah, with the little ink pots. That's right. Yeah, PTSD
04:20I couldn't get into them then can't get into them now
04:23But for me personally it had to do with like all the Irish designers that I really wanted to
04:29Can we have a round of applause for the outfits?
04:32Yeah
04:40There's such
04:41There's such a wealth of talent in this country and we tend to think that we know what that is
04:48because we're usually trying to sell it to
04:50the Yanks. Yeah, but actually there is such a wealth of talent when it comes to
04:54Textiles and fashion and it's not just literature
04:58But if you noticed even last night's episode a beautiful kimono that I was wearing had Cara Deelish written on
05:04it
05:04And we had Fjalltor written on things there were there were little Easter eggs there that only added to the
05:10design
05:10So I'm really proud that I got to on my
05:14Lumpen beautiful self got to showcase a few Irish designers, you know
05:18Well, they were fabulous. I've got to say thank you very much. We have to talk about our three og
05:24traitors
05:25Kate
05:25OG crew
05:28Starting with the only female traitor
05:31Isn't that lovely?
05:33You weren't like that before I tell you
05:38Starting with our only female traitor Caitlin. Yeah, how do you think she managed with the other two lads on
05:43either side?
05:44There was not a bother to her what I what made me giggle about Caitlin was the way she came
05:48in like Pippi Longstocking
05:50Hi
05:51I am innocent. I'm not with you like my earrings. I wear pigtails. I must be non-threatening one of
05:58the smartest
06:00most powerful
06:02Women I know just looking at her don't don't don't don't don't don't absolutely extraordinary
06:06But God bless you for thinking a few flowery dresses, but
06:11Convince us otherwise, but by God you were well able well able for for the two boys, and I mean
06:16like
06:18Eamon was
06:20Extraordinary, I mean, I think Eamon like the biggest villain we've had ever. Yeah, I mean move over Cromwell
06:31But what I loved about Eamon is that Eamon for me and he's just behind the camera there so I
06:35can't see him
06:36Is he glaring at me? No
06:38beautiful boy and
06:41The thing about Eamon which I found so interesting because remember I was learning along with you as well, you
06:46know
06:46Like we were all guinea pigs this time round weren't we next year if there is one next year. What'll
06:52it be like? Yeah, anyway
06:55Hats lots of hats
06:57But Eamon went in with a game plan didn't he and he was like and I was like there's something
07:02about this show
07:04That if you go in with a game plan, you're almost like look at Paul D. I don't think Paul
07:09D
07:11And look how long he lasted so it's almost a question of being able to adapt on the hoof
07:16You know there was a real three different approaches to Paul D sort of wrote you like a jazz musician
07:21Like he was just going day by day. What's happening now? Okay. I'm moving this way. All right. No, I'm
07:26gonna move this way
07:27Yeah, Eamon Eamon had a strict
07:30Sort of plan that he wasn't gonna deviate from I wonder whether that was how he was found out at
07:37the end
07:37You know like do you need to be more flexible? It's very interesting. Yeah, but also, how are you to
07:41know until you go in there?
07:42Do you think body's a genius? I?
07:48Do I
07:51Can't trust that answer after the longest laugh in the world
07:54Will you be voting for party in the coming election? Oh, but I'm running his campaign
08:01I'd like to live in a country run by body. It's like free sandwiches at every bus stop
08:08Like no parents no parent would ever say who their favorite child is. Yeah, but come on. Who's your favorite
08:15child? Oh, I couldn't say Diane
08:23What
08:24What is it about Diane you love so much? Well
08:27There's there's two and by favorite what I mean is sort of like people who I wish I saw a
08:32bit more like Diane
08:34You were absolutely wonderful and Diane for me
08:36You are the epitome of a kind of Irish woman that I don't see enough of on telly and you
08:42should have been there longer
08:43and also what I loved about you is that you were completely authentically yourself and
08:49So the eyebrows going up
08:51You were being accused
08:53I was like
08:53Has somebody explained the rules to Diane?
08:57You were absolutely outraged why are they trying that's the game Diane that's the game and
09:04No, I thought you were wonderful and I was gotcha to see you go you have you've an absolutely
09:09Wonderful energy about you and I enjoyed you immensely. I also really enjoyed Joe
09:16Yeah, I really
09:24And I mean I say I I you know, I'm picking the two of these obviously, you know that I
09:28loved every single one of you and do you give it a damn anyway whether
09:32I do not
09:36You've been their mother figure for the last four weeks and that is why we're a nation of dysfunctional people
09:42But that final day was incredibly tense. Yeah, it's kind of became the girls versus the boys
09:48Yeah, do you have any inclination as which way was gonna go? No, I didn't but like that was this
09:54the whole way through
09:55We I've never I've never done a job like this before and by the end I was saying I will
10:00never do a
10:02Like this again because you would start your day
10:05In the middle of the night and you did not know when you were going to finish work for that
10:10day
10:10Yeah, you just did not know you would think you every single time I went into the round table going
10:15I know what's going to happen the production team would go we know what's going to happen
10:19We know how many cars we need or what a lala and like maybe tell catering we don't need the
10:24sandwiches at midnight
10:25I would know it would all change
10:28We could never ever ever call it. So I think that's why it was such an enjoyable show. Yeah
10:33Yeah, you just couldn't tell well
10:35You brought so much to this series from your fabulous costumes to your fierce one-liners. You have been the
10:40ultimate queen of the castle
10:42Let's remind ourselves
10:44Hello lovely at the good times roll
10:50I'm obsessed with everything Siobhan wears. Oh, yeah. Oh, hey
10:53Oh
10:56Apologies having a bath Nick and Ben
10:59You were nowhere near
11:01Nowhere near it at all like honestly dudes welcome to my little sanctuary. Hello too good to kneel
11:08Later baby dolls by placing a fish show
11:12Vanessa this will go much quicker when you don't annoy me open
11:19And now you know no, no, no, it was daddy all along for Dave
11:28There's so few of you look
11:30Time for you to commit your first murder to light it with
11:38Laters trainers
11:41Siobhan on behalf of the nation
11:51On behalf of the nation, I'd like to say Gura Mahagat you did a phenomenal job
11:56You brought class cuplafuckal and most importantly crack to the traders Ireland 2025
12:08Another another two people who brought energy of a very different kind where our traitor slayers turn backstabbers
12:14Where there's Nick there's Ben this little bromance was like shooting a 65 around the golf course at the weekend
12:20Whatever the fuck that means
12:24Get emotional rolling around the bed and a lot of 50 or else
12:32So close to Nick in here on that's my top on every breakfast is he gonna be there
12:38Thanks
12:40There's no denying Ben is my best mate in here. He's had my back. I don't know how many times
12:46Why do you think it's me you'd be like wanting to save me if I'm a traitor
12:50You're the first person who goes because you'll see straight away the change of me. I really don't know who
12:55it is
13:00Do you think I need you out of it so Ben do you accept I accept
13:07Did he look after me or did he look after me looking forward to getting him on board working with
13:12him and
13:14Murdering welcome to the conclave. How are you feeling happy to be here now that I'm looking across my hood
13:19is with me
13:19You're both very delighted aren't you yeah couldn't have worked out better I don't think no
13:33Nick and Ben
13:35What a series you both had from faithfuls to traitors, but at least you had each other
13:41So when exactly did you both realize that you'd found the one?
13:46Straight away straight away it was like both of our so yes
13:49Looked on shutters eyes. I gotta I gotta ask the synchronized arrow pull that looked rehearsed
13:55No, I actually Nick had done it actually I think when we got a trailer before I can't remember which
13:59one and I was like like that
14:01So then it was like when we caught another one was like Nick come on
14:04We're like let's go
14:06It was a beautiful synchronization. I gotta say you got so far in the game lads. Did you get too
14:11cocky in the end?
14:13Yes
14:13Yeah
14:20Describe
14:23Describe how you were feeling on that last day?
14:26Well, it was a mixed emotion and we obviously the admission was incredible. It was incredible to share with obviously
14:32our friends and
14:33But there's the thought in the back of your mind of what's to come and every round table was so
14:37intense
14:38So we knew eventually what was to come and yeah
14:41Yeah, and also you're thinking about what happens the previous night as well
14:44Yeah, so kind of when everyone's coming in for breakfast knowns
14:48As you can see as you could say no one's really talking or it was awkward. Yeah, so it was
14:52like the breakfast after a wedding after somebody like punched a
14:55Yeah, exactly
14:58Nick I gotta say though. I like that last round table where there was a lot of heat on you
15:04Like the girls came with receipts
15:06They were on you, but you remained I gotta say very very cool and collective. I don't know. I would
15:12have crumbled
15:13Yeah, I probably pushed about a little bit too far for that. I'm probably
15:17God much, but like I had to fight my corner. I had to go for it
15:20So I was never gonna back down we wanted to we wanted to give it our all so
15:24All or nothing have to try and win, but ultimately they called us out in our bs
15:28We were both shocked with that though because when we were talking we thought they were gonna come for me
15:32So then you can see actually in the show when they say when I think someone goes for Nick
15:37And he's like
15:38Because he wasn't expecting
15:40We were ready to defend defend band, so I'd like this pitch for band. I was like let's go and
15:44then she comes to me
15:44And I was like, oh
15:46Well, we got a bone to pick with you over Faye like lads. He's you backstabbed your best friend
15:52How could you have done that for it's and it's like a panto audience
15:59We am yeah, we did we struggled with this with this one for ages because obviously the name of the
16:03game is to get to the
16:04Final and get the money and we were on one side Faye was on the other so for us to
16:08win it
16:09We would have to do it eventually and yeah, so it was a mercy killing
16:12Yeah, well, we actually didn't know what would be worse taking her to the final and having to do it
16:16or or doing it then
16:18But so basically you did her a favor you're welcome
16:22Thank you
16:24Show a bit of gratitude
16:26Yeah, no, it was it was horrible like we felt terrible
16:30Yeah, like you could see in a reaction
16:31You could totally see we didn't want to do it, but it is still just a game
16:35So do you think though if you kept her in you could have won 100%?
16:39Yeah, but yeah
16:41There's that confidence I was talking about earlier
16:43Yeah
16:46The fact that we don't know we oh well I still felt anyway
16:49We could still do that and possibly win the game as well
16:52We might have had a better chance if we had kept there, but yeah, I don't know
16:56It felt like it just slipped away when we did it though
16:58It was it it just with how strong Owen was at that table
17:02She was incredible and it just felt like we had to go that way to save face a little bit
17:06And when when we obviously got rid of Faye then it was kind of like, okay
17:10We're we're really going to struggle now to pull the wool over there. They were so smart those three of
17:14them
17:14So hard to get by them and obviously they they caught us
17:19Well, Nick you were the man responsible for taking out future president of this country poddy
17:24Have you anything to say to the nation who are still in mourning?
17:27I know it's tough poddy was poddy was poddy
17:32That could mean anything
17:34And I meant exactly that
17:36No, poddy poddy played a brilliant game like
17:39I didn't mean to go for I wanted to like go on longer with poddy and obviously pat called me
17:45out
17:46The day before with the letter rip
17:48I had Andrew there and I should have the next day gone for poddy
17:50But I didn't because I I was trying to be loyal in that moment
17:53So it kind of came across like I was going for poddy and he he thought I was going from
17:57but I really wasn't
17:58But I was just trying to make sure there was no suspicion on me
18:00So it had to go that way
18:01I think paulie thought I was going for him, which I really wasn't
18:04Oh my god
18:06Fair
18:07Can I ask a question please do do your wives trust you now?
18:11I thought you'd have to ask them
18:13They never trust us before
18:17But like I'm picturing them
18:18Where are they?
18:23Yeah
18:24Oh they're two women leaving
18:29They do we love them so they knew we were only playing a game so I think
18:41Well once he had poddy out of the way there was only one man for the job and that was
18:45your bestie of course
18:47Ben how did it feel to go from faithful to traitor so late in the game
18:51Yeah, I found it really difficult. I really did I struggled with it
18:55Obviously me force murder with Amy
18:57It was me force
18:58So I was kind of a bit of excited with that one
19:00Sorry Amy
19:01Everyone remembers their first time
19:05But no after that yeah I struggled with it
19:08But not even just with the murders being a traitor with the banishments and knowing
19:13That they're not a traitor and people are going after them and seeing how upset they get like I did
19:18actually struggle with it
19:18It was difficult but again
19:20You just have to keep on trying to bring it back that it's a game
19:22It's a game but in the moment it is it is really difficult and you struggle
19:25Well Nick you had main character energy from day one let's remind ourselves
19:31Who do you think is the leader of the group?
19:34Move faster!
19:35Nick
19:36What are you at?
19:37What do you mean what am I at?
19:38Because it's one lie on top of another
19:39I'm sick of being a traitor
19:41I'm just going to say to you Eamon
19:42Fool me once shame on me but fool me twice shame on you
19:45Dear Nick
19:47We wish to recruit you
19:49Obviously went into the room
19:50I just gave the big one on the camera
19:52At this stage the game is going to turn ugly and you're going to have to start eliminating people
19:56You just don't have that trust with
19:57Are you willing to join me as a traitor?
19:59I'm a faithful slayer now
20:01I'm coming from
20:02This is my game plan if I execute it
20:04It'll be like shooting a 65 around the golf course on the weekend
20:07I'm so like a brother
20:08I'm actually we're only just saying there your wife is so lucky like
20:10Want a hug?
20:11No
20:12Well thank you
20:12The most trustworthy person for me is Nick
20:15Hey I think it's you I'm sorry
20:16I feel sick putting your name down
20:18This is the hard part like both
20:19It's just
20:20Mate think about your kid
20:21Fuck this is not the hard part
20:22Having my daughter at a young age
20:24She is my best friend
20:26If I want something we go to probably disneyland with the kids
20:29You'll make the wrong decision on me if you go with me
20:31Pauly was half right
20:33I'm a traitor
20:48So Nick what you know what was it like watching that back
20:52It was unbelievable
20:53I don't sure that didn't look like main character mainly main clown energy but it was good fun
20:59Um to to share the experience with the 24 cast members was epic
21:03They're all I'm so close to them all they're all legends every single one of them
21:07Obviously I had a special experience with Ben which was incredible
21:12It hasn't ended yet
21:15But it was yeah the whole year like I played it as a game
21:18I probably pushed the boundaries of a lot of things
21:21Siobhan give us a break
21:24Well Ben you were voted the best at the missions
21:27You're an army man
21:28You're used to pressure
21:30Let's remind ourselves of you taking control of the situation
21:34Joe go in the middle you go on the left
21:36Me and Christine will go on the right
21:38Joe you go in the middle you go on the left
21:40This is the mission that I'm buzzing for
21:42As soon as you hear a bit of water I'm all over it
21:45Yeah put y'all in the middle
21:51We have to carry it guys we have to carry it
21:54Just carry it into the water
22:06No
22:06Ben I'm no military strategist
22:11I know that the first step to sailing is you put the boat in the water
22:16Was that the hardest two weeks of work you've done since joining the army?
22:20Christina always likes me about it, but I always said to her,
22:23I'm in the army. I'm not in the navy.
22:25Like, come on.
22:26And you're not going to be any time soon.
22:29Let's talk about that final day and that final round table.
22:32Nick, it all fell apart for you at that round table.
22:34Like, what was your game plan going in?
22:36Game plan was Kelly from the get-go.
22:37We knew it was 2v2, so just try to turn Kelly in some way or another.
22:42We said we'd go for Vanessa over a win and just turn Kelly,
22:45but she saw right through us.
22:47And you thought the heat was on Ben going in?
22:49That was the big problem.
22:49We were kind of building Ben's defence,
22:52so when Ian brought it to me, I was going,
22:53oh, no, what do I even say here?
22:56And she was so strong, it was impossible to.
22:58When Ian puts those lasers on you, I'd say your heart just shrinks.
23:02Just sinking behind the round table.
23:04Ben, you met it one step further to endgame.
23:07What was it like standing there as the last traitor?
23:10Without your boy?
23:11Yeah, I know, yeah.
23:12Like, and to be fair, he left a little breadcrum for me,
23:14like, with the party coming, and I still knew the game was up anyway.
23:18Like, I still knew that the girls were going to get it right.
23:21Like, they were brilliant.
23:22They copped it.
23:23Once Kelly had kind of made her mind up,
23:25like, I kind of knew what way it was going to happen.
23:27Did you ever think, you know, I can win this?
23:31No.
23:33Well, Nick, you gave us one of the most memorable moments on the show.
23:38Would you mind, one last time, giving us the big one?
23:42Oh!
23:47Thank you very much.
23:54Unbelievable!
23:55Ben and Nick, everybody!
23:59After the break, we will have the first exclusive interview
24:02with the winners of The Traitors Don't Go Anywhere.
24:23Welcome back to the finale of The Traitors Ireland Uncloaked.
24:27We are here with Siobhan McSweeney, runners-up Nick and Ben,
24:30and let's give a round of applause for the winners,
24:31Vanessa, Oyan and Kelly!
24:40Ladies, that was phenomenal stuff.
24:44Like, holy moly, you had the whole country shouting at the telly
24:48like it was Italia 90.
24:49Vanessa, how does it feel to have won The Traitors?
24:51Oh, unreal.
24:53Like, it just means like all those tears actually meant something.
24:56So, yeah, no, really happy, delighted.
24:59Oyan, has it sunk in yet?
25:00I think it's like living it for the second time again,
25:03so yeah, definitely.
25:04And you get to enjoy it with the whole audience as well.
25:06Yes, yes.
25:07Kelly, now, you said on the show that if you won,
25:10you would pay off your parents' mortgage.
25:13Are you going to keep that promise?
25:15Absolutely.
25:15I'm a woman of my word.
25:16No doubt about it.
25:17Can you...
25:22Every...
25:22That's...
25:23Every parent's dream.
25:24That's every parent's dream.
25:26Can you reveal how much is left on the mortgage?
25:29Turns out, and I didn't know this, a whopping 50 euro.
25:3350?
25:34So, easy, easy, yeah.
25:36Five, zero.
25:37Yeah.
25:37You definitely knew that, making that promise.
25:39Yeah, yeah.
25:41Kelly, when you were filming the show,
25:44what did you tell your friends and family you were doing?
25:47To be honest, it was kind of easy for me,
25:49so I told them I was just going to work in Galway,
25:51but I had been, like, planting the seed,
25:53because the whole thing for me was
25:54none of my friends would believe
25:55that I would go off my phone for two weeks willingly,
25:57and I couldn't say I was going on a retreat
25:59because they wouldn't believe me about that either.
26:01So I had to kind of...
26:02I started planting seeds really early on,
26:03and it's, like, something my dad would do
26:05that he would, like, challenge me.
26:07So I was like, you know what?
26:08Girls, my dad has been saying, like,
26:10I bet you, like, 200 quid,
26:11you can't go off your phone for two weeks.
26:13So I was like, you know what?
26:14I'll take that bet.
26:15And so, yeah, now they think I'm 200 euro richer,
26:17like, little do they know what to...
26:19A little bit more than 200 euro, but...
26:22Siobhan, up the minute.
26:23Up the minute.
26:25Are you delighted?
26:28I am, actually.
26:31I am...
26:32I am delighted the three of you won,
26:34but, like, because it felt towards the end,
26:37it just felt like, you know, that...
26:41Girl on girl, I was going to say.
26:44Different show.
26:45But, you know, turning on each other
26:48and sort of accusing each other,
26:50and it's all very understandable,
26:52misunderstandings and all this stuff,
26:53and the two boils, they're going,
26:55can't believe we're getting away with it.
26:57Don't move.
26:58Don't move.
26:58Don't move.
26:59Don't say anything.
27:00Don't say anything.
27:00If you move, they might catch you
27:03and then go for you, whatever.
27:04So I was really, really...
27:06I just didn't think it would happen.
27:09And Ian, watching the final there
27:13and just seeing you at the breakfast table go,
27:17like the meme that we all can think of,
27:19where she went, that would be...
27:23She made a little...
27:24She got it.
27:25Yeah.
27:25Because you have to remember,
27:26I didn't see everything
27:28as much as I pretended I saw everything.
27:30I was probably putting a hat on
27:31in another room somewhere.
27:32So I didn't know when the turn happened,
27:36when he slowly but ever...
27:38like, brought the ship around very slowly
27:41and started edging towards the iceberg.
27:44Yeah.
27:45Or not.
27:45Away from the iceberg.
27:46I think it was...
27:46I remember Kelly, you said at breakfast table,
27:48like, God, maybe it's the two lads.
27:49Maybe it's the two lads.
27:50Yeah.
27:50Oyan just went, oh.
27:51Yeah.
27:52I don't know what are the chances,
27:54but Oyan was like...
27:54Yeah.
27:55It was the first time we were comparing notes
27:57and we were like, pause.
27:58Yeah.
27:58And then we were like, oh, no.
28:00Yeah.
28:01We were like, it really just...
28:02We've done that stuff.
28:03Yeah.
28:04Oyan, were you sure at that moment,
28:07as soon as the penny dropped,
28:08is that the way your brain goes?
28:09Oh.
28:10Donk, donk, donk, donk.
28:12Damn.
28:13Yeah.
28:13Definitely.
28:14You knew then.
28:14I was sure.
28:15And then, obviously, Ben walks in after,
28:17I'm like, ooh.
28:18We were just talking about you.
28:19So, like...
28:20Did you notice a change in the...
28:23Well, I suppose...
28:24No, still.
28:24I'm still just worried about myself.
28:26Like, you could see the breakfast before
28:27when I messed up with Kelly's.
28:29Yeah, yeah.
28:29I'm just like,
28:30that was another great meme, actually.
28:32Yeah, yeah, yeah.
28:32Of being just going like...
28:33All right.
28:34I was like, what are they in?
28:36Was.
28:36Was a nice guy.
28:38Kelly, you had all the power going into that last day
28:41with the...
28:42You had the swing vote.
28:42Yeah, crazy.
28:43Like, a lot of pressure.
28:44You had a big decision to make,
28:45and it finally all clicked into place.
28:47Yeah.
28:48Oh.
28:49My thing with Cody is, right,
28:50he was like, protect the girls,
28:52fuck the lads,
28:53and then all of a sudden he has Vanessa's name down,
28:56and then just throwing the blame on me.
28:58He was definitely kind of trying to sway my decision,
29:01and then he just kind of realised,
29:02okay, I'm gone,
29:03so I'll throw out the person I'm angry's at
29:05and it's name, kind of thing.
29:06Yeah.
29:08Yeah.
29:09Or the person he recruited to name.
29:11Yeah.
29:12I don't know.
29:15As in what?
29:16I was thinking,
29:17because I'd yell out of it to me.
29:23That was a sweet little trap you set there for Nick.
29:26Like, I like the little side-eye where you're like...
29:28And he was like,
29:30yeah, well, yeah.
29:31I was focused on the next thing I was going to say.
29:33I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah.
29:34What am I going to say?
29:35You still had Potty's name ready to go.
29:37Yeah, yeah.
29:38Kelly, was that the turning point for you?
29:39To be honest, still, no.
29:41Like, that entire character,
29:42and he was so crazy.
29:43Like, I was like, okay,
29:44well, it's Nick, 100%.
29:45But I was still like,
29:46maybe he's not working with Ben.
29:48Maybe, like, it was just such a bigger picture then
29:50that I felt like I had to piece together.
29:51And then I was like,
29:52maybe he's, like,
29:53there was just so many thoughts on my head.
29:54There was so much crap as well.
29:55I'd say she was just dizzy nearly listening.
29:57Yeah, because he was going one way to another.
29:59He came back to me and was like,
30:00I've been working on Kelly in the car here,
30:02and I was going around.
30:03No, that was like,
30:04that was the end of us.
30:07I think I have her bed.
30:09Yeah, yeah.
30:09Come on, come on.
30:10We are back.
30:11I think we had a chance here.
30:12I think we had a chance.
30:13Victory lap.
30:14I was like, you're an idiot.
30:15Oyin, were the three of you strategising that final day?
30:19We didn't really talk about game plan, honestly.
30:22I think we just kind of said Nick's name
30:24and we were like,
30:24OK.
30:25And that was it.
30:26We just went into the round table
30:28and we were just like,
30:29OK, we're just going to grasp our straws,
30:32really,
30:33and just try our best to pin it on Nick
30:35because we really did feel like,
30:37well, myself,
30:38I felt it was Nick at that point.
30:40And I was like,
30:40I'm not, like,
30:41it's not going to be me leaving the round table.
30:43It's going to be Nick.
30:44It's a bad place to be.
30:46Yeah.
30:48That last round table was so tense.
30:50Once Nick was banished,
30:52Ben,
30:52like, what was going through your head?
30:54Oh,
30:54it's insane.
30:55So I put my head down
30:56and I was like,
30:57Roy,
30:58pretend like you're shocked with that Nick
30:59or something like that.
31:00But then I stayed there for that long
31:02that I was like,
31:03well, I can't celebrate now either.
31:04So I just stayed there for an extra
31:05and I was like,
31:06what am I going to do here?
31:07And I think it was about five minutes
31:09and I'm still just like that.
31:10You could have gave a very,
31:11very sad arrow.
31:13Yeah.
31:14Straight to his heart.
31:16Yeah.
31:18Kelly and Ian,
31:19like,
31:19you were celebrating like mad.
31:21Vanessa,
31:22you reacted very differently.
31:23Were you just done at that point?
31:25I was done about three days before.
31:26Like,
31:27I was,
31:27like,
31:28begging production to go home.
31:29Like,
31:30I just wasn't having it anymore.
31:31It was just so much tougher
31:33than it was
31:34and the last two days
31:35we'd just been so wrong
31:36and I was just so deflated
31:37and I was sick of being
31:38in the middle of everything
31:40and it's just like,
31:41even going into the round table,
31:42like,
31:42even coming into breakfast actually,
31:44I just didn't care.
31:45Like,
31:45I really didn't care anymore.
31:46I actually thought
31:47Nick was going to win
31:48and actually,
31:49like,
31:50convince Kelly
31:51because, like,
31:51Kelly had not been,
31:53she'd voted for me twice I think.
31:54She'd already told me
31:55she didn't, like,
31:56trust me.
31:56And I actually didn't even bother
31:58trying to convince Kelly.
31:59Like,
31:59I genuinely didn't care about the money anymore.
32:01I just wanted to go home.
32:02It was just,
32:02it's very, like,
32:03emotional in there
32:05and it's,
32:05I know it's a game and all,
32:06but, like,
32:07it genuinely just got to me
32:08and I was just like,
32:08nah,
32:09I'd rather just go home
32:10and let the guys play, like.
32:12Like,
32:12I feel it is important to,
32:13to say,
32:14like,
32:14it is only a game
32:16and these are real people.
32:18What?
32:20Apart from Siobhan McSweeney.
32:22Siobhan,
32:22Siobhan McSweeney is,
32:24I'm a real boy.
32:26A demigod of some kind.
32:27From our perspective,
32:28we have to push the boat so far
32:29with the faithfuls
32:31that, like,
32:31it probably does nearly become too much
32:34and you,
32:34you just have to keep pressing.
32:36So, like,
32:37you say,
32:37you don't want to say stuff
32:38but you,
32:39you nearly have to push the boat so far
32:41to,
32:41to try and,
32:42like,
32:42deceit them.
32:43So,
32:43it's,
32:44it's terrible what we have to do
32:45and we definitely upset the girls along the way
32:47which we're sorry for
32:48and personally I never meant to do that
32:49but,
32:50it's just part of,
32:51it is just a game.
32:52Yeah.
32:52And you just have to go that way.
32:54And I think there is,
32:55there is a place for,
32:57like,
32:57you know,
32:58slagging on Twitter
32:59and on stuff like that
33:00but, like,
33:01just don't make it mean.
33:02You can do it in a fun,
33:04creative way.
33:04100%.
33:04Come on.
33:08And I,
33:09I,
33:10I just want to talk,
33:12to end that by saying,
33:14like,
33:14until you've been through
33:16what these lads have been through,
33:18they're,
33:18until you've been through what I've been through.
33:20Yeah.
33:20Yeah.
33:21Being interrupted and all right.
33:22LAUGHTER
33:24Like,
33:25I,
33:25I was saying earlier,
33:26like,
33:26we went through it all together.
33:27Production went through it with you.
33:29Like,
33:29it is so intense.
33:32People behave,
33:32I behaved in a way
33:34that I don't recognise,
33:37good,
33:38bad or indifferent
33:38because you're in extremis.
33:40you're in extremis.
33:42And we're doing it for you,
33:44for your entertainment.
33:45So,
33:46cop on and don't be awful.
33:49APPLAUSE
33:53We're all lovely.
33:54Moving,
33:55moving swiftly on to Endgame,
33:57Nessa,
33:57can I call you Nessa?
33:58We're not friends but me.
34:00LAUGHTER
34:02Wow.
34:02Just met your life.
34:04When,
34:05when Ben rode Nessa on that slate,
34:07how did that make you feel?
34:08Honestly,
34:09like,
34:09it wasn't a game for me.
34:11Like,
34:11I find it really hard to kind of separate,
34:13like,
34:13myself and a game.
34:14Like,
34:15I'm just always me,
34:16I'm always on.
34:17So,
34:17in that moment,
34:18I really was just trusting Kelly and Oyen.
34:20Like,
34:21I was being part of the team
34:23and playing as a team.
34:24But,
34:24honestly,
34:25it was nearly impossible
34:27for me to fathom Ben as a traitor.
34:30I understood it logically,
34:31but in the game,
34:33I was just like,
34:33there's no way
34:34he could be a traitor.
34:35The exact same way
34:36if Oyen became a traitor,
34:38I would've been the last person
34:39who would've clocked it.
34:40So,
34:40I was just kind of,
34:41I knew Nick was a traitor
34:42and I,
34:43like,
34:43I think I was coming at you
34:44the day before and all.
34:45But it's like,
34:46when it came to just Ben,
34:47it's like,
34:47I knew logically it makes sense
34:49for Nick to have recruited him
34:50or for them to have been working together.
34:52But I just couldn't,
34:53I couldn't fathom him being it.
34:55And when he wrote that,
34:55I just absolutely broke down.
34:57Because at that stage,
34:58it's like,
34:58it's no longer a game,
34:59it's now,
35:00it's money.
35:00You know what I mean?
35:01Like,
35:02he's taught me about his family,
35:03he's taught me about his kids,
35:04taught me about the plans that he has
35:05and it's like,
35:05am I going to actually do this
35:07to somebody I'm seeing as a friend?
35:08It's about two personal.
35:09You know what I mean?
35:10Exactly.
35:10And it's like,
35:11I'm already an emotional wreck,
35:12but that just,
35:13that was it.
35:13It done me like...
35:14Kelly,
35:15that last day in the ca...
35:17Sorry,
35:17that was too much.
35:19Kelly,
35:20that last day in the castle,
35:22it was incredibly tense.
35:23Yeah.
35:23Did you do that to sort of
35:24keep your spirits up?
35:25Yeah,
35:26they actually didn't show up,
35:27but we ended up playing hide and seek
35:28across the castle.
35:30Yeah.
35:30Because obviously like,
35:30there was 24 people to begin with,
35:32like that castle was crowded,
35:33like you couldn't walk into a room
35:34by yourself.
35:35So like all of a sudden,
35:36we realised there was five of us
35:37and we had the whole place to ourselves.
35:39So,
35:39it was literally like,
35:40we were like kids in a playground,
35:41running around the place,
35:42hiding under the couch,
35:43like it was...
35:44It was like the cameraman
35:45trying to chase us.
35:46Yeah, yeah,
35:48Ben's like behind the door.
35:49One day,
35:50but I get pulled for an interview
35:51and Owen's there looking for me for ages,
35:53but I'm upstairs.
35:54Oh my God!
35:55I'm like, Nick?
35:55This is unbelievable!
35:57I mean,
35:57the other option was looking at Ben and Nick,
35:59do you push-ups again?
36:00Like,
36:00I mean...
36:01Well, like me sitting on Ben
36:02while he does it.
36:05I'd love if,
36:06Wilkin was still somehow in the castle
36:08when you were playing hide and seek.
36:10He was.
36:12Now,
36:13Owen,
36:13the oracle,
36:14you were so perceptive
36:15from the beginning.
36:17Wow.
36:17Wow.
36:18But I was trying to think of it
36:19from a different point of view.
36:21And I'm just thinking,
36:22because Eamonn,
36:23I'm very hung up on him being a traitor,
36:25and then Caitlyn too is on my radar.
36:27I'm thinking,
36:27is this like a...
36:29like a fight between traitors?
36:31Is it like they feel like you're a weak link
36:32and they're trying to like,
36:33come for you?
36:34I feel like my intuition is right
36:35and I feel like you're a traitor.
36:38So I voted for you, Caitlyn.
36:39I feel like you and Eamonn
36:41were working together.
36:43There was a blackmail last night.
36:45I feel like it would have been you.
36:47Even if you weren't a traitor yesterday,
36:48you could be a traitor today.
36:49I'm a traitor.
36:53I voted for you, Polly.
36:54I just feel like you were a fillet
36:57with Eamonn and Caitlyn
36:58and just,
36:58it's all too coincidental
37:00for me to just look over.
37:02Yep.
37:05Wow, wow.
37:07Back to back to back.
37:09Olyan,
37:10the nation wants to know,
37:12are you a clairvoyant
37:13and what are this week's lotto numbers?
37:15Oh,
37:16well,
37:17there's a fee for that.
37:18But anyways,
37:20a clairvoyant,
37:21I'd say it's more just a lot of thinking.
37:23I spent a lot of time
37:25in my head in the castle
37:28and with my journal at night.
37:30So,
37:31it was really just working backwards
37:33and every single day
37:34I'd go back
37:34and just like write down the hints
37:36and the clues that I would find
37:37and then I would kind of just like
37:39work it all together.
37:40So at the beginning,
37:41I kind of wrote down
37:41the people's names
37:42who I thought were traitors,
37:43who could be traitors,
37:44and then people's names
37:45who I thought just couldn't.
37:46And I actually had
37:47all the traitors
37:48on the people that
37:49could be traitors
37:50on my list.
37:51So, I kind of like
37:52worked backwards that way.
37:54And then,
37:55yeah.
37:56Pretty much.
37:57That's how it works.
37:59Yeah.
38:01Unbelievable.
38:03Well, I think,
38:04I think I speak for the audience
38:06in saying that
38:06you're all winners.

39:41and I blurted out daddy.
