00:05The Story of the Last Person to Enter Surda
00:08A child named Zaki ran over to Ustadz Ayub who was sitting on a park bench.
00:15Ustadz, is heaven very vast? Can all good people enter there?
00:22He asked innocently.
00:24Ustadz Ayub smiled.
00:26Son, Zaki sat closer.
00:28Ustadz Ayub then began to tell his story.
00:31Once upon a time, there was a servant who crawled out of hell.
00:37His body was full of dust and his heart was filled with fear.
00:43When he managed to get away from the fire, he turned around and gave thanks for being saved.
00:49Then Allah made a shady tree grow before him.
00:54The servant said,
00:55O Allah, bring me closer to that tree, so I can take shelter.
01:01Allah granted his request.
01:03After the servant promised not to ask again.
01:08However, soon after, he saw another tree that was more beautiful and closer to the gate of heaven.
01:15Embarrassed, he again begged to be brought closer to him.
01:20Even though he had promised, the all-merciful God still granted it.
01:26Under the second tree, he heard the sound of laughter and happiness from within heaven.
01:32Her heart trembled.
01:34He wanted to come in so badly, but felt embarrassed for asking too much.
01:39Suddenly, Allah said,
01:42O my servant, enter heaven.
01:45The servant was surprised.
01:47Oh my God, isn't heaven already full?
01:50He said that Allah also said,
01:52that he will be given a kingdom ten times the size of the world and all its contents.
01:58The servant did not believe it.
02:00In fact, that is proof of how vast Allah's mercy and love is,
02:05even to the last person to enter heaven.
02:11Ustadz Ayyub looked at Zaki gently.
02:14Well, if the last person gets a prize that big,
02:18imagine how much love God has for his servants who continue to try to do good.
02:23Zaki was silent.
02:25Her heart felt warm.
02:27Heaven is indeed vast.
02:29And the love of God,
02:31far broader than anything we can imagine.
