Michael Carrick has promised his Manchester United players will not get carried away by their strong recent form as they look to secure a return to the Champions League.United moved up to third with Sunday’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace, a sixth victory in seven games since Carrick was appointed in mid-January, and they have the best form of any side in the league since his arrival. The challenge for Carrick is to maintain that given the number of clubs still in the fight for Champions League football.

00:00There's a lot of context and it depends on the players, the group of players, what the games will look
00:05like.
00:05You know, there's so many different things coming into it.
00:07I think it's not so much guarding against it.
00:09I think it's just living in the moment and staying in the moment and keep grounded, you know,
00:14and down to earth in terms of understanding what it takes to win games.

00:30come by.
00:30But we're hungry for more, for sure.
00:33And we need to try and make it as long as it can last and stay consistent.
