00:22And this afternoon, I will be showing you the error a lot of people commit in English language concerning two
00:34words.
00:36Those words are Dormetry and Hostel. A lot of people refer to Dormetry as a Hostel.
00:45A Dormetry is different from a Hostel. A Dormetry is different from a Hostel.
00:52A Dormetry is a building where students live. A Dormetry is a building that is built for the purpose of
01:02student accommodation.
01:04That is what a Dormetry is all about. A building that is built for the purpose of student accommodation.
01:11That is where students live. Either in a university, a college, etc.
01:18But a Hostel is different. A Hostel is a building that is meant for travelers, visitors or guests to lodge
01:31there while traveling overnight or for a short period of time.
01:48While traveling. Can you see that a Hostel and a Dormetry, they are two different, they have different names. They
01:58are different. They are entirely different.
01:59I said a Dormetry is a Dormetry. I said a Dormetry is a building that is built for the purpose
02:04of student accommodation.
02:05And I also said that a Hostel is a Dormetry. And I also said that a Hostel is a building
02:10that is meant for travelers to lodge or guests to lodge or visitors to lodge while traveling.
02:22They lodge there for a Dormetry. They lodge there for a short period of time or they lodge there overnight.
02:26And you can also call a Hostel a hotel or a guest house. A Hostel is also known as a
02:36hotel or a guest house.
02:37So, in a nutshell. So, in a nutshell, a Dormetry is not a hostel. A Dormetry is a building that
02:43is meant for student accommodation in a school.
02:47Either a university or a college, etc.
02:48While a hostel is a hotel, etc. While a hostel is a building that is meant for travelers, guests, tourists,
03:02visitors for lodging overnight or for a short period of time during their visit or while traveling.
03:12That is what a hostel is about. And a hostel is also known as a hotel or a guest house.
03:22So, I am using this opportunity to correct that error a lot of people comment in the English language by
03:29referring to a Dormetry by referring to a Hostel as a Dormetry.
03:38There are two different things. A hostel is different from a Dormetry. And I have explained everything to you initially
